Yes, Ghana is near the equator, which means it experiences nearly equal hours of daylight and night throughout the year-approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. This is due to the Earth's tilt and its position relative to the Sun, which doesn't change much around the equator. As you move further north or south from the equator, the length of the day and night varies more, especially as you approach the poles. This is why places farther north experience longer days in summer and shorter days in winter. In Ghana, since it's close to the equator, it tends to get dark around 6 PM year-round. They are economic migrants from neighboring countries of mali and niger. They belong to the Tuareg ethnicity of west Africa and Northern Africa. Hi Queen Desta. Thank you for representing us, as our Kenyan explorer in Ghana. About sun setting. The Equator traverses kenya in the middle. Accra, at 6 degrees N, is further north than the nothernmost part of Keny at 4 degrees. In October, the sun is far down at about 23 degrees S. That is why in Accra, the sun sets slowly and starts earlier than Nairobi, which is very close to the Equator.

gibson2675 No that's not racism. Most africans are the same race, how can there be racism? There's xenophobia, tribalism etc. Not everything is racism. And you should judge people by how they look, that's how we tell people apart. It's just that she got it wrong and the ghanaian guy simply didn't pay attention so he confirmed a falsehood.
