Yes, Ghana is near the equator, which means it experiences nearly equal hours of daylight and night throughout the year-approximately 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night. This is due to the Earth's tilt and its position relative to the Sun, which doesn't change much around the equator. As you move further north or south from the equator, the length of the day and night varies more, especially as you approach the poles. This is why places farther north experience longer days in summer and shorter days in winter. In Ghana, since it's close to the equator, it tends to get dark around 6 PM year-round. Enjoy your staying

madam! Your tour guide is not smart at all. His knowledge about Ghana is subpar! Those kids begging on the streets are not refugees! They are economic migrants from neighboring countries of mali and niger. They belong to the Tuareg ethnicity of west Africa and Northern Africa. They are not Lebanese nor Ethiopians!… change your tour guide or else you will be misled. If you can’t change him, just read more about places you will be visiting in order not to rely on him for vital information.

Hi Queen Desta. Thank you for representing us, as our Kenyan explorer in Ghana. About sun setting. The Equator traverses kenya in the middle. Accra, at 6 degrees N, is further north than the nothernmost part of Keny at 4 degrees. In October, the sun is far down at about 23 degrees S. That is why in Accra, the sun sets slowly and starts earlier than Nairobi, which is very close to the Equator.

You will be disappointed if you expecting underdevelop accra to be like Nairobi ,Adis.. the top 4 cities in west Africa are Lagos,Abidjan , Abuja, Dakar before Accra which is number 5th.. you must visit those cities and tour before you can understand

Jealousy is a disease. No wonder white folks refer to black people as monkeys. Go to Accra and see how many foreigners choose to go there. The world does not care about which city is developed or underdeveloped. Peace, love, and good people are all that count@kabifest8897

I see that you are trying to explain why the children are begging and they're not from Ghana this is exactly where the problem is you all are Africans and there should be no separation because when you leave Africa it does not matter to the rest of the world whether you are from Ghana or Kenya drop this tribal nonsense

johnlawrence6451 Our ancestors lived in separation and in different kingdoms. Why is there this sudden new lie that we were all together? Also north africans don't respect you. They have no concern or kinship with us. That's where they come from and why they fleece the people for money instead of working. A poor ghanaian will at least try to wash your floors for money. They want free money

They born in Ghana, therefore not Ethiopians. Don't judge people by what they look like. That's called racism
@blackowl641
@blackowl641 2 ай бұрын
gibson2675 No that's not racism. Most africans are the same race, how can there be racism? There's xenophobia, tribalism etc. Not everything is racism. And you should judge people by how they look, that's how we tell people apart. It's just that she got it wrong and the ghanaian guy simply didn't pay attention so he confirmed a falsehood. Ghanaians do this a lot pay no attention to detail. We should improve on that. Saying yes yes to anything or no without really listening
