The place looks great. I think you need knives, blender, microwave cover, storage bowls for fridge, napkins, sponge for washing dishes, dishes for kids, tin and bottle opener to make it complete 🙂

We actually have knives but we store them separately because they are very new and sharp and we don’t want them accessible to young children. Only adults are shown where they are. We also have blender .. I just realise now after reading your comment that I didn’t show it.. we also have microwave cover … we have sponges… we have napkins, sponges, … etc.. I’m too obsessed with storing things out of view that’s why I missed showing few things.. 😂 We don’t have bottle opener… thank you for that suggestion.,, I’ll go get that now…

Summer, your shortlet is lovely and clean. You don't need to add an island for your shortlet. If it was a long term rental property, I would say add an island with two or three high back chairs or high back stools depending on the length of the island.

Very very beautiful space❤. My suggestion is to look for a cleaner who can be cleaning the place before and after letting it out. You can then include the cost to the daily levy. Most dignitaries renting the space with their families will not want to do the cleaning before leaving. It's just my opinion but you can throw it if it doesn't apply to shortlets in Nigeria.

Nne, what insurance will you have so no items go missing after tenants have left? Also what about if the tenant smokes or has a pet like a dog? I know there is a slim chance if this but everything has to be considered. Keep the kitchen floor clear - no need for any island.
