Homelite bought out jacobson. And jacobson and ford had the exact same tin and frame,motor, etc. My point is that jacobson/Homelite has a hydrostatic transmission with hydraulic lift of deck,snow plow,etc. I would like to know if a Homelite sickelbar would actually fit onto my restored jacobson/Homelite. So I could cut creek banks and stuff. Do you know if that bar would work on my tractor?? Thank you for the help. Better to buy one stock or I gotta make one. So help me out I live in WV so it's to far for me to trade you out of yours😂😂😂

Got the only one I seen for sale, old Sears ss16, but they jerry rigged it with a speedex sickle bar mower have to make my own clutch for it and stuff

Sears started using the Haban about 1975. Before that they had their own. Haban was a much better design with more functions.

Haban was really good at re-using a lot of the same parts in each one. Only major differences was where the front pulley lines up

The Wheelhorse would be a c121 the c120 has a very different dash upright.

Nice collection. I wish more sickles were available for people who need to use them for their intended purpose. I can't mow around my creek bed without one and here's seven collecting dust. I can't find one for my wheel horse, and costs ten times as much to get on for the tractor plus time changing implements.

Amen, I see all these people collecting huge numbers of tractors and implements. Save some for the rest of us. You don't need 3 of the same model.
