11:26 You could make a little tilted vertical Clip Rack, like a book rest or book stand, with slots for each clip, and numbers in each slot, underneath the clips. So, as you put the clips in your hair, you see 1 , 2, 3, 4, etc revealed in front of you. Then when you are all done shaping... you put the clips back on the rack, covering up the numbers 4, 3, 2, ... If you still see a number, well - that clip is still somewhere in your hair ! :-)

I was a kid in the 60s, born in 1950. We did not have a TV until we were 7 or 8. Black and white with lots of static. Very few channels to watch. We mostly played outdoors with the neighbor kids, sidewalk, chalk game, marbles, jacks and had a shared phone line with other people. Listened to record player, played dress up with Mom's gloves, scarves, costume jewelry and hankies. It was a good life. People were kind to one another. We didnt even lock our doors. I am so grateful for being alive then. Just turned 70 and cant believe we cannot even have an honest election, now. So sad. Loved reliving the good times through your videos. Just what I needed today.

I was born in 1958. I remember my mom when I was very young trying to teach me about fixing your own hair. It was a lot of work! Curlers and so on. She would tell me that you had to train your hair. Her style was probably kind of an early 50s thing? She was actually very stylish. When I watch you, I miss her.

I like how you worked so hard to get all 1950s stuff. We did it the old fashioned way, being 'thrifty' because cash was always in short supply, and everyone had Big Families of 6 or 8 kids ! :-) All the TVs, Refrigerators, Toasters, ringer-washers, etc - Made in USA, and built to last.
