Sorry, but I hope this is ok to ask. I need to ask women that are doing the time periods I want to do (1930, 1940, to 1950) My question is what would be the right/good hair cut to make a good hair style for the time periods I said? Please and help or where I can find help? Thank you

Your bathroom looks lovely! I always liked the lady heads, and they look perfect on the circle shelf. I live in the 1950s house my grandparents built. My bathroom is pink tile with black accent tile and blue fixtures. I also have the spinny mirror/toothbrush holder. New-fangled toothbrushes don't fit in there, but my kids filled it with random treasures when they were little (hiding them from Bad Guys), so it is still full of important things! ☺

I love this...I collect vintage luggage. I would love to travel with some, but I am afraid it is too large for carry-on and I don't want to check it. Do you fly with yours?

Just be careful if you use vintage dishes or bakeware that were made before 1971. That is when the US passed a law regulating lead in plates and dishes. Before that time people used lead paint and sealers on dishes.

Your clothes look very nice. Have you changed anything since the video was new? I use wool detergent too, but for cottons, linen, rayon, and similar I now use 7th. Generation liquid laundry detergent (the one that smells like oranges or citrus). It is with out any oxy bleach and brighteners, and I have not had any problems. I have swatch tested several washes in cool water up to 30c, some 40C (86-104F) and the big difference is cleaner fabrics. The new vintage fabric swatches looked much the same after 10 washes, I could not tell a difference. I don`t hesitate to use a prewash now, and I do not mix detergent and vinegar; but have the vinegar as a separate step after rinsing. It makes the soapy water clean better, and the vinegar does a better job on its`s own too. I don`t soak for too long but can let the clothes stay in the soapy water from 10 up to 40 minutes. I use oxy clean stain remover when needed (It is the small spray bottle called "maxforce"), it works on old stains, cotton, linen, viscose, and even with swatch testing it has come out identical. Swatch testing woolite and 7th. Generation detergent have turned out fine too, but the last one cleans better. As mentioned a prewash works too, lukewarm water 30C to 40 C. I don`t use vinegar a lot, but have found a fabric rinse called Sonett Laundry Rinse. It is similar, but with out the vinegar smell. I like your method of washing garments in a large tub. I often use my washing machine, on the two gentlest cycles, the wool cycle and the one with a bit more movement in the drum. A quick 900 rpm spin work for fabrics in resonably good condition. I use only one garment in the machine, high water level, and skip the spin if needed. I have a Miele front loader, not the top model. I have used a little bit of oxyclean for cottons and light colors if needed, it helps with staining and stubborn dirt. I pick up all the info and tricks I can gather on this :- )
