Due to my disability, I was not able to graduate. It really hurt and it still makes me sad. However, now I can graduate in the sims and not have my disability stop me. Remember my friends, if you don't graduate, it's fine. Your not stupid or less then anybody, everyone struggles with certain things, and school is a huge one. You did amazing!

I too have a disability, I wouldn't consider me to be one of the most disabled students in my school (UK) but I was still able to make my leavers day of year 11 which was in June so I'm thankful. my school did nothing to help me with my health issues, I'm in regular pain and I was still forced to do Physical Education. Like I say I don't consider myself as severally disabled but I understand the similar experience you went through

From what I’ve seen in the rest of these comments it all depends on where you’re from, some people are saying they had no grad ceremony from graduating early and others had a ceremony. In my area it’s the same as you, they simply stop going to school and still go to the ceremony.

@@wiebkke Test scores + appropriate credits for my school system (US, Indiana, a couple decades ago). Some kids would take classes at community college while in high school because they were more advanced and counted for more credit hours, meaning you could both graduated high school early and get college credit. You had to have 95%+ on our standardized tests to qualify for that. I was always 99%+ on standardized, but didn't go for the program because it basically pulled you out of actually experiencing high school. Plus, I'm lazy.

@@wiebkke in my case I’m going to graduate early just because I’m in online school (but still enrolled in an actual high school) and I decided to do school throughout our summer break so that I could be done before the next school year is over. When I was still in irl school I knew a girl who graduated early because she took classes for extra credits and only had to take one semester in her last year of high school instead of two I’m pretty sure they require good grades along with finishing early though, because they won’t let you graduate in general if your grades are horrible

This is so weird, you literally made me in the Sims! The day you posted ep 1 of this mini series, I had just finished a book about a twin couple (the boy being gay as well) who moved into a town with a theme park just like that. I resonated a lot with the female character in the book and yours is called Veronica (just like me), is a chemistry nerd (I'm a chemist) and God I even have a tattoo of one of her posters on the bedroom wall! I was thrilled the second I saw her room, with the periodic table and all, and it felt like it could be mine :D Thanks for this little moment, watching her struggle in school just like I did has made my days

I played the day the pack came out with a teen sim I had already been playing with so she was already an A student. She got the option to graduate early and I learned that sims who graduate early can enroll in university as a teen! It’s not all bad.

If you turn off Aging in your gameplay settings, it should work just fine. But make sure your aging setting is normal. I made the mistake of leaving my settings on long and my sims started aging.

This is why watching multiple reviews are important. I've just watched an 'brutally honest review' from one simmer, that rated the pack so badly. He said the gameplay was so bad and shallow and there weren't much to do. And here we have LilSimsie, who says there's too much to do.

i really want to love this pack, i really do. but i just had so many weird glitches that make the pack not super enjoyable for me... my Sims don't go to school most of the time and the few times when they do, neither of them attend class (i can't even make them)... that aside, my teen sim suddenly had a romantic relationship with the principal?? he never interacted with her in any way AND wanted to ask his brother out to be his boyfriend. My game is almost unplayable after installing the high school pack 😩. My teen sim went to school a teen and came home an adult. I used testingcheats to change her back to a teen and within 24 sim hrs she aged up to an adult. Next thing you know I started getting notifications about my other sims aging up. One of my most played adult sims passed while I was playing a different household. I'll have to stick to building until the bugs are fixed. I now know to never pre-order an expansion and wait until the bugs are fixed. 😔... I do wish you and the other youtubers apart of the EA creators network that speak so highly of the pack during your gameplay videos prior to the release would warn us about the danger of purchasing an EA pack soon as its released. Or at least create videos informing us of all the bugs and keeping us updated on the patch releases. I normally wait for sales but after seeing your gameplay videos I went ahead and pre-ordered, now I can't play 😔.

That happens to people playing on long lifespan. Change to normal and turn off aging. This is a huge issue many are experiencing and EA knows. They added a pop up when you load the game saying they’re fixing it. it’s the patch causing it, not the pack as far as I’ve read.

Also, I updated my game as soon as the patch was relased on Tues but I didn't have issues until after I installed the highschool pack on Thurs. So it seems to be an issue with the pack but idk 🤷‍♀ . I noticed they added a feature for graduation. I made a household and made the parents that were already adults but when I went to the sim profile it said “graduated” with higher than average age grades are something, I think that’s cool how they did that so the parents have some more story to them when you first start out

Okay that glitch is still happening to me. My teens ask my adults to prom as friends and romantic. Even when they have no romance with the adult. They also ask to be friends with my adults and that’s weird. They also just randomly come in and after I ask them to leave a new one comes. It’s getting annoying.

They’ll probably just release the update as soon as it’s done. They won’t wait to nearly finish it then announce a date they’ll update it. They’ll probably update it as soon as they can because some people are getting really bad bugs and it’s urgent.

I am so sad right now. As many others, I'm experiencing bugs with the new pack and can't even get my sims to go to prom (the event doesn't appear in my calendar, apparently because of a glitch with get famous), there is no graduation ceremony and my sims want to hook up with their siblings. I was so exited for this pack and now I just wish EA would release content that isn't broken just for once. 😔

My mom got a ged so I like how they added this option in game like you can study online for it
