Grazie ad un libro ho conosciuto un'amica meravigliosa...17 anni fa ho comprato in una libreria un libro usato da leggere al mare, nell'ultima pagina c'era una scritta "se il libro ti è piaciuto chiamami " e indicava un numero di telefono, sono stata combattuta per molto e poi ho chiamato, mi ha risposto una donna, dalla voce sembrava anziana. Da quella telefonata abbiamo iniziato a chiaccherare, a prendere il caffè, a parlare di libri,viaggi, io avevo 40 anni , lei 75 ma chiaccheravamo come due ragazzine. Siamo state amiche fino a quando non è terminato il suo tempo sulla terra, ma grazie a quel libro ho incontrato una persona che mi ha insegnato tanto❤. Grazie per il video, Mochi è dolcissima. Ah praticamente sei un ligure (abitante della Liguria) il tuo pesto era perfetto!!! Un abbraccio❤❤❤

Agree with you Mr.I, reading is a gateway to endless adventures. Perhaps we all remember what it meant to learn to read. Each new syllable that we incorporated made us more and more avid and we wanted to read everything. The world as we saw it had changed forever. Later, interpreting what we read is a challenge that lasts as long as our life itself. Nothing like the smell of books, both new and old. And nothing more comforting than the sound of that water making its way. And nothing cuter than the princess Mochi wrapped in her blanket. But my job, which I love, is very demanding, I teach Portuguese at Uni, where future teachers of that language are trained and I do translations from Sapanish to Portuguese, in judicial files, within the framework of Mercosur. I have read The Island of missing trees by Elif Shafak, it grabbed at my heart as it's about Cyprus during the war between the Greek and Turkish people. I was living there for many years as a child but had to come home when things got bad. So this book was so special to me as I loved the old Cyprus and its beautiful people ❤. Yet another gorgeous video and such a cute Mochi x

Imo, you and Mr J made a good decision. To me, cities have so much to offer those of us who love culture and cultural diversity…food, museums, music, dance, books stores, etc. and I too find them very energizing! There always seems to be a hidden gem to discover, a new neighborhood to explore. And Oslo is such a beautiful city! Clean, not overcrowded and lots of beautiful nature to feed the soul. Hi dear friend, and thanks for sharing the small stories about Chester! I can really picture him running straight to the bags to inspect your shopping! Dogs are just so funny- where would we be without them? It's funny- there is one kind of cake here in Norway which Mochi is crazy about. She doesn't beg us for a taste when we eat crisps or some other foods, but this cake is like narcotics to her! We made the mistake of giving her a tiny taste one time, and after that she was addicted! 😂

The recycling system is very practical and it would be nice if more countries had it. It reduces waste in a very good way. If you live in Strasbourg, you will know the beauty (and challenges) of winters very well 😀 This year January in Oslo has been unusually mild. There was a lot of rain recently which melted almost all the snow in the city center. Maybe the rest of winter will be colder.

Ah ce système de consigne c'est tellement pratique. Je ne comprends pas qu'en France on freine à ce point sur la consigne. Étant frontalière avec l'Allemagne j'en ai l'habitude et c'est très pratique. Nous pouvons laisser notre coupon de remboursement pour les sans-abris. Pour la conversion des prix en couronne et en euros, nous avions pris l'habitude de diviser par 10, comme ça pas de surprise 😊. Si vous avez peur de tomber sur le verglas, vous pouvez acheter des crampons que vous glissez sous vos chaussures, cela se met et se retire très facilement. On en trouve dans les magasins de sport et en ligne. Pour le tram, je confirme, les employés nettoient les saletés et dégivrent les rails. La même chose est faite chez moi à Strasbourg. Mochi est très mignonne enroulée dans sa couverture. Bonne semaine.

Mochi's expression when you were talking to her was priceless. The pasta with pesto sauce looked delicious and I too am planning to cook pasta tonight. Countries with extreme cold weather need to spend a lot of money to clear the roads and keep everything running. I feel sorry for the guys who have to work in those conditions. I hate driving or walking in icy conditions. We are fortunate that the snow boots have improved quite a bit over the years and so it is less likely to slip these days.
