💕 My Sims 3 is running SMOOTH like BUTTER!!!! 🧈(no thanks to EA)

Something I've gotten that I have to do if I haven't played Sims 3 for a few days is clear the cache in the EA app and Microsoft Edge, apparently Sims 3 and the app use elements of Edge. I'll get a message that "items are missing", when I haven't made changes in the CC for YEARS, and its that these caches need to be cleared. It's weird, but if you start coming up with strange errors, that's the first thing to do now.

@@Rekowcski I had soooo much trouble! It kept saying "missing items" and I literally had not changed my CC in YEARS. I searched and searched and searched and finally found a reddit post that said to clear the EA app cache and microsoft edge, and I'm like whaaaat? I don't use edge. And LOL there was a response on there saying "I don't use edge" and the really smart person said that the app and the Sims 3 launcher DOES use edge and so to clear those. And it worked! Now if I don't clear it regularly same problem comes up "missing items" soooo WEIRD. I hate the EA app, this especially never happened before the EA app

@@Rekowcski Ugh, just finding out HOW to clear those caches was a headache as well. For any that might see this, the EA app its those three lines in the top left corner then "help" then "app recovery" then it will give an option to clear the cache. For Microsoft Edge, the three dots on the right, then settings at the bottom of the list, it will open a new page, then "privacy and services" from list on the left, then scroll down a little to "clear browsing data" SECTION and there is an option "choose what to clear" if you don't use it just clear everything every time.

Sims 4 is too Disney looking for me, I love the Sims 3 ugliness 😄 it makes the game far more interesting. I'm terrified of going online with Sims 3 now though, I don't want it to update and break 😭
