One of the things I love about this channel is how used Amanda's makeup looks. Her makeup looks like she actually uses it daily, like my own makeup collection. A lot of big beauty youtubers just have huge untouched collections (not really their fault cause they get a lot of PR) but with Amanda's it's like "damn girl you massacred that single eyeshadow. Must be a favorite."

It's awesome and helpful but most KZbinrs make the majority of their money through affiliate links, aka the links in the description box. That's way more lucrative than KZbin ads for most. So no shade on her but it's in her best interest to link as much as possible and make it as easy as possible for us to buy through those links. I always try to bc I want to support her channel.

So fun to see everything in one video! Another video idea would be comparing the one and done bronzey shades- CT, TF, Revlon caramel, Maybelline high roller, RDF half light, etc... BUT i would like to kindly point out that the camera settings have some kind of warm filter as if it's evening and this was lit by candlelight. So it's not easy to see the true colors, especially in comparison (a lot of the ones I listed looked the same when you swatched, but i own many of them and i know that they look different in real life). If we could see these types of swatches in more natural light, like you do with makeup application, it'd be very helpful for the future!

I don’t know why I’m just now subscribing to you because your eyeshadow preferences are identical to mine. Catching up on your vids to see if I can find some recommendations on shades I don’t already have. So excited. Tip: For your dried out shadows, put a tiny bit of a thin silicone primer on the back of your hand (I like the Touch in Sol No Poreblem with the pump), then dab a VERY small amount on your fingertip before picking up the shadow. Brings it right back to life. My Roen 11:11 was so dry the first shade on top looked like dry flakes. I used this trick, and whoa!

Yes ColourPop wattles is a beautiful creamy, satin, matte eyeshadow. I love it all over the lid blended into the crease with a glittery shadow tapped on top. It makes a gorgeous, sophisticated look quick and easy.

All so similar, yet so different shades. Some of them are gorgeous. I did purchase the space cowboy when it came back in stock and I’m in love. I have the moodust palette but my lithium doesn’t look as rich. I loved UD stardust shadows when I first got into higher end makeup, mine is like so old but I still wear it 😂😂😂

Great video! I left this comment on your last video but I was very late to it. I watched a video of Kelly Gooch's and she said that the Catrice True Skin concealer was a close dupe to the Kosas concealer. I bought it on Amazon and i find that it is very similar. Just not as gel-like as kosas in my opinion. We are similar in shade and I bought 002 Neutral Ivory. But I like my concealer to be a close shade match to my face. If you'd want it to be more brightening, I'd go with a shade below. Sorry such a long comment. Lol

I still keep my New Moon and refuse to throw it out even though it hasn't gone (and should not go) near my face in a long time. It was ✨️ the ✨️ shadow of 2015. And the most expensive thing my 19 year old self had, so never getting rid of it lol. Want to find a dupe of it so bad, and those Rituel shadows are drool worthy! I'm surprised they don't have a dupe.

For any expired eyeshadows, you could use them for artwork instead! Use the shadows like pastels or add a binder to create watercolors. That way, you give the expired makeup a new life. I’m sure you can find someone who would love to have your expired shadows

If you're going to try any Missha Dewy Glossy Eyes, try the shade Orange Pekoe (sheer orange base with gold reflect). Not all the shades are created equal in that line, and Honey Roast is a bit boring compared to the gorgeous, shiny Orange Pekoe

Fun upload! Some very beautiful shades 😍 Did you smell those old RDF shadows? 😅 I can't keep any pass the 2-2.5 year mark. Besides them drying out (which I will use as a powder shadow when that happens) the expired smell they give off is atrocious and definitely needs to be thrown out (or retired to a makeup mausoleum drawer/box).

I wonder how the single from Bobbi Brown (at about 9:00 mark) compares to the special shades in Pat McGrath? Both formulas seem kinda dry, baked, very shimmery, maybe it’s kind of a dupe? I refuse to spend 130€ or however much PMG palettes cost here in Germany and I’m only really interested in the shimmers 😃

if anyone stumbles upon this comment and is curious, i did today an experiment as i had an opportunity to swatch both side by side (special shade from mothership VII and bobbi brown moonstone). moonstone has a little bit of a metallic light gold base (not opaque, just more dimension), but the flakie sparkly shimmer seems to be the same substance, just a bit finer and the colour is overall more of a champagne. pmg’s special shade has no base colour, the sparkly flakies are a bit chunkier and sparser (unless more product is packed on) and silver when light hits them, and light gray/transparent when not, what gives this effect of almost disappearing. the effect reminds me of colourpop ritz without the brown base (chunky silver flakies) but cp is creamy to touch, pmg is dry to touch. moonstone and pmg look very similar from far but overall i like the colour of moonstone better, and sheered out it also gives this more sparse „piece-y” effect. pmg has more texture though because of the size of the flakies. however all other shades from the mothership VII look wildly uninteresting so I probably will go with moonstone, especially that i own ritz already. if whoever read it - i hope it was helpful and have a good day!
