Hayley, You are absolutely right! I was a stay at home Mom of 4 with a husband that constantly asked where was I going to go, and what I was going to do, and who would want someone with 4 kids? I couldn't go get a job so I started my own daycare in my home, and kicked him out. He took the kids one time, and brought them home early. From then on it was all me. They never saw him again, and he never paid child support. A couple of years later while I was working in insurance a coworker/friend told me about his previous coworker/friend who he thought would be perfect for me, and we started emailing. However he was only 22 and fresh out of college, and I was 36 with 4 kids. Flash forward: We have been married almost 18 years. We had a child together who is 15. I remember how stuck I was, and how hopeless. I did it though, and I am so happy now! :D

Both kids are "special"? Maybe stop having kids sweetie. No family or child support, tells me you weren't married and no family courts to force child support from your husband at gun point. So you've got two kids and life is hard......1st question, who is the father or father's, why did you have children with him? Sounds like you makebad choices and want validation from a wealthy woman on KZbin. Keep your legs closed and stop having children without a good man that is your husband.

Being a "single mom" isn't always bad. Not everyone has these amazing helpful involved husbands like it should be, but just isn't unfortunately. Therefore having a spouse almost can be like another child with more expectations. Been in both situations and of course we all want the fantasy TV sells us of happily ever after but it doesnt always exist. You can be broken, stressed, depressed, lonely and like a single mom all with spouse in same house. Being single at least you have yourself and child to worry about. Hayley is a beautiful amazing strong woman who clearly gives herself the backseat to her child. I feel this video will help many in more ways she ever imagined. Yes to all those tearing up because they are living their own hell well you will be ok. And yes sometimes it's time to leave and move on.. there are plenty of good men out there you just have to find the rare ones.

I decided that enough was enough and walked away from EVERYTHING…I too worry about my financial stability and how I will provide for my child. Praying that God will make a way. I hope you are doing well! I became a single mom a little before my daughter turned 6 months. I wish I would leave and not return to my ex when I was pregnant, but I thought I was doing a right thing because I didn't want my daughter to be born not in a wholesome household. I now know, back then was a sign for me to never look back but I also know God is the redeemer and He is walking me through this divorce and child custody battle. We are making the best out of this situation. I know this is my testimony and I will be able to help others in similar situations. God bless and Merry Christmas!

Thanks for this! I've been trying to get out of my toxic situation and am only still here solely because I'm stressing about how I'm going to make it, but you've given me encouragement on just doing it and having faith that it'll all work out somehow! Also, Your child isn't missing out on anything if your relationship with her father was toxic. I grew up in a very toxic home with parents who couldn't stand each other and always got into terrible fights. They stayed together solely to keep the "family together", and let me tell you, it did way more damage to me than good. I actually wish they had gotten a divorce so that I wouldn't have had to endure everything that I had to in that home! So your daughter is better off with the decision you made. Great job mama!

I needed this! Your comment about you feeling sick from depression is me right now. Worried about how I'm going to pay my next upcoming bill, it makes me ill. Yet I'm doing all I can to get out of it. I really look up to you, and think you're such a wonderful inspiring person, I strive to follow in your footsteps but in my own journey. All I have to say is people always tell me how strong I am for being a single mom, yet it wasn't my choice. I look at other single moms who had the strength to walk away and be a single mom by choice because of their situation.... those are strong ass women. You're amazing! Keep pushing forward!

I'm 5 years divorced and a single Mom of 3! Times get really, really hard but the kids and I are happy as can be. I struggle, but I make things work somehow! When I was with their Dad, it was like I was single anyways. I did everything myself and he was like a 4th child instead of a husband. He even said this to me himself...often and he called me Mom, ugh! I can recall once I went to get my hair done...the appt. was a couple of hours, he called the salon irritated and asked them how long the hair appt would take because my youngest, who was just a baby at the time, was crying! I remember being soooo embarrassed and that was when I knew the relationship was done for me. It took me years to have the courage to leave but I finally did it and I'm so much happier! We all are!

I am married, but my husband is gone a lot and is currently deployed (he’s in the Army), so I can related to you so much. I raised my daughter basically on my own (she is 5.5 years old). And now we have a 6-7m old son, who was born with a CHD and has had some difficulties since his life started. So I have days where I feel completely alone because I don’t necessarily have my husband around to share life’s burdens with. There are days I struggle with how I will continue another day with the struggles we have faced. But us moms are stronger than we know. Especially when we are forced to do it all alone. So that being said, I appreciate your tips on staying positive and strong.

I’m on my 8th year of being a single mother, my son’s dad has been incarcerated since I was 5 months pregnant. Luckily he comes home soon but I’m very serious about my sons mental health so I told his dad he has to be in a good space him self and have to be serious about raising his son. I think we will coparent great when the time come. Keep your head up ladies❤️

I just wanna say I’m so happy I’ve found you. I resonate on such a deep level. I am a single mum of two girls one who is 8 and one who is 3 and my eldests dad chooses to live in New Zealand (we are in the uk he is originally from) and my youngests dad is being investigated for abusing a child (outside of our home and our lives) so there is no contact. (Obviously and social advice) so I get soooo much resentment and jealousy of others and the ex’s. I’m so glad I found your channel as so many trigger me, thank you 🙏🏻

I completely understand your reservations about online dating because I had the same. But I wanted to share that I decided to give it a try (with a 7 day free trial) after getting out of a toxic relationship 8 years ago and I met my now-husband in just a few days. I was also not a dater, and I actually felt much more comfortable getting to know him through texting and talking on the phone before we had our first date. It’s like we had a chance to have a few dates before we had our actual first date. We’ve been married for almost 5 years now and have a 2 year old son. I can’t imagine not having him in my life. I just wanted to share because I was also not into the idea of online dating, but I’m so glad I did. Thank you for sharing your journey!

HI!, wow, im in a situation right now with my one year old son, I am in this toxic relationship, where I feel super vulnerable and almost just feel bad for myself every morning I wake up. Its so hard for me to make the decision to move out and become a single mom, yet its becoming reality for me as of right now. I kinda knew, like you in the beginning of the birth that I can't stay and commit with this guy. Only because my heart, and my mind, wasn't in it, this is rock bottom and im just going to be a bouncy ball because staying down here is not going to be any better for me, my baby, and his father. I am in college, and also, struggle with my family being far away, but friends and other family members will always be there in a case such as this. Thanks for the video.. mamas matter too

You’ve been so inspiring the entire time I’ve watched you. I hope you know that you are such a strong beautiful human being. I literally cried watching this video. Thank you for sharing your story with us. You deserve the world. I will never forget watching your videos when I first found out I was pregnant. You brought me to a calm place every time. When I miscarried I felt like my world was crushed. And every thing was falling, and I couldn’t breathe. You helped me get through it... I know that’s deep and heavy but your purpose here is very real and important. I was raised by my grandparents and I had my bumps in the road. But I wouldn’t change it for the world, your baby girl is so lucky to have a beautiful mother like you’re self. She’s so blessed, and I just love you. Thank you 🙏

We grow. That’s the outcome of the battle and the struggles. I think with every phase of our upbringing we have to learn that the hard is what’s making us grow and change and be strong. As they grow we grow as well, and it will get easier and then it will get hard. The ongoing cycle but it’s all worth it. Hind site is 2020 I love that because it’s really true. We grew we learned and we moved on. Stronger. Sorry for the weirdo rant and even if I can’t relate 100% I totally get how you feel. Hustle on momma!!

I found that I was good at budgeting with my husband. When everything ended I was not spending time on my self. I decided to change and not devote to pedicures and stuck to a natural route. Any ideas for yourself. I will also probably continue using the bus for convince or a bi weekly taxi for groceries if that helps for extra money. Bus to school or homeschool or tutoring isn't that bad and the tutor doesn't care where we live.

I became a single mom when my daughter was 3 days before turning 6 months. She is turning 3 years old next month. I'm still going through a divorce and child custody from my narcissistic ex and it's so costly. But I am so grateful to be able to parent my daughter in a healthy household filled with so much love, hope, faith, etc. We don't have our own place, just yet, but I am forever grateful for my best friend and her mom for taking us in. As soon as everything will get finalized, I know my daughter and I will have a place of our own. I'm blessed to be able to work from home and to take care of my child. It's really hard, but we are safe and we are healthy and we have enough. We may not have many people in our life but we have a really good church community. And we have God, which means we have more than enough. I'm so grateful I've come around your channel by chance. God bless you and your family! Merry Christmas!

I recently discovered you and I'm so thankful that I have. The first part of this video , you knew you had to be a single mom , it's my current situation. I have the most beautiful two year old daughter God could bless me with , but I don't have much family just my mother , and my daughters fathers family are not involved. I have been wanting to get out of my toxic relationship since the day I found out I was pregnant. But I have been so afraid of the how just like you said. I'm getting to a place where it's eating me up inside and effecting my child. I know I have to get out that I am robbing her if all the self love I always said I would teach her if I don't get out. But I'm terrified. Your giving me confidence but I don't have a nest egg. If I leave we will not be ok . I will keep praying for the day that we can and I will keep watching your videos..thank you.
