I can’t imagine how hurtful it must have been for your own family to treat you like that, but I’m so glad her fiancé didn’t go along with their nastiness and had the decency to take your side... great story

It’s horrible that your sister and parents treated you this way, but I love that her fiancé wasn’t afraid to call them out for their behavior - sometimes allies come from unexpected places!!!

Your sister banning you from her wedding is bad enough, but your parents laughing about it is just heartless - thank goodness her fiancé realized how toxic that behavior was and did something about it!! amazing story

Your parents laughing about your sister banning you is so heartless, but it’s amazing her fiancé stood up and showed them that not everyone tolerates that kind of toxic behavior!!! love it

The way your family treated you is beyond disrespectful, but her fiancé stepping in and doing the right thing shows that not everyone was okay with their cruelty - good for him!!!

With a family like them, why would you even bother going to the wedding, just give her a gift or card and not even care?

I thought I was just shy but dreaded being in front of a crowd. My Jr high English teacher recognized my problem, when I had to do a book report in front of class he sat in the front corner student desk and had me give my report directly to him. I was able to block out the rest of the class and got through it successfully.

Michelle should have went no contact with her family but at least she is free now

I couldn’t agree more. No contact might have been the healthier choice earlier, but better late than never.
