Apparently when she tries to hit on Ryo, someone video recorded this incident and at the reunion, someone exposed her true colors to Ryo's former best friend and everyone at the reunion. Once everyone saw this video, everyone including Ryo's former best friend realized that she's been lying to everyone all along and they cut ties with her, making her an outcast. Ryo's former best friend and everyone apologized to Ryo for falsely accusing him for stealing his friend's girlfriend. Even if Ryo forgave him, he cannot rekindle their friendship after the incident, that it takes time to change the future but can't change the past.

I'm kinda bored, so I figured I'd write what happened to his ex friend and his girlfriend. They keep dating up till college. One night, his girlfriend went to a party for the club she was in and started to flirt with one of the male club members. The other members saw this and reported back to her boyfriend. At first he didn't believe it but then he remembered the incident from high school so he started to investigate things. He ended up finding out she was dating several guys behind his back, so he confronted her and informed her cheating partners of her scheme. She tried to beg him to forgive her for it, but he was furious and broke up with her. Eventually, everyone found out about her, and reputation was ruined she ended up leaving college due to being unable to handle everything becominga shut in. As for her now ex, he tried to contact the mc multiple times, but the mc changed his number, and his sisters refused to give him their brother contact information. Leaving no way to make amend, he now lives with the guilt of what he has done. He now has taken his own vow of no more dating.

Have a heated argument, she finally confessed to what she did. Now knowing the truth, he reached out to the MC to apologize for what he said to him. Although the sisters were reluctant to help him, they eventually agreed to help resulting in the two making amends. As for the girl, her husband decided to divorce her for her lies. Things got worst for her when she discovered that someone recorded the argument, and posted it online. Everyone began to turn on her, and apologized to the MC. The ex was forced to leave town where she started working part time at a small store to make ends meat.

I can't imagine going through trauma like that. Especially when it comes to a girl who hits on you and then blames you for something you didn't do just because you turned her down AND having a boyfriend already? I mean, goddamn. It's one thing to be kept to yourself, which is understandable, but at the same time, at least have SOME spine to speak back despite the issue. As a guy who had a fight with his best friend over a chick (don't worry, we solved it) I want to make a proper ending to the whole thing; So, everyone who ever harassed the MC who a cold serving of karma, let's say, everyone in college who guided themselves by some stupid rumours had some light strokes of bad luck, or just died single, their relationships never worked or even got hit with some nasty, unfounded rumours themselves, as I always say, believe what you see, not what you hear. During a class reunion, the truth comes out, one of his wife's friends reveals the truth because she was drunk, and also says how she's only with him for the money and would dump him asap if she can find a handsome man, the party was a mess and since the MC wasn't invited, he never heard anything about it, when the MC brings his gf (now fianceé) to meet his parents, he runs into some of his classmates, every single one of them looked terrible, some of them where unenployed, some of them where working in some dead-end jobs, some of them looked like they were in a fight, turns out, once the truth came out, the MC's best friend and his wife started a fight on the party and a brawl broke out, the wife trying to shut up the snitcher, and the husband trying to feel goo about himself punching the people who, like him, hurt the MC. Some of them just hung up low, unable to meet his face, some of them mumbled "sorry..." but most of them ran out of sight, it seems that, more than want forgiveness, they will avoid him like the plague since after this whole incident, a whole "curse" made their lives miserable, eventually he finds that his ex best friend divorced and got hit with some light STD because of his wife's cheating, she ended up paying some hardcore alimony and he was kicked out of his company for his acts of violence, he tries saying sorry, but his current psysical state makes the MC just walk past him as if he doesn't notice who he is. I never liked this type of stories where you can walk out after making a person's life miserable, SPECIALLY if it's one of those stories where the MC is dating his former bully.

Yeah cause telling people to "get over it" and "move on already" really helps to overcome past traumas. Sadly the message of "change who you are to conform with the majority" is a heavily Japanese concept due to how their society is, especially with how their rumor mills start. And this story really crystalizes that. Luckily the FMC seemed to not be like that and really liked him for who he really was, I'd say the SHE'S the real hero in this story. The sisters were annoying as hell though, those "I know best types" are just beyond my ability to stand. If a person who can't be happy in their own shoes need therapy (not a negative connotation in my eyes) not a makeover. All in all I don't hate this story, but I don't really like it either so I guess a 5/10 by my standards. Bland but not unwatchable.
