If Felli and Lawu continually speak their mother tongue, Kiswahili and English, the children shall learn a few words. They could even teach Kiswahili to their neighbours for fun. Yes, Felli is happier with her sister. It was gratifying to see them working together. Normal village life. ❤❤💐💐💐💐. Feir has grown and is no longer hanging around grandpa any more. I love the care Felli gives grandpa. That in itself is a lesson to her children about extending compassion and kindness to others. I look forward to Doudou joining school and regular updates.

Wanji: Lawu is better off learning Mandarin. To live in China and speak mainly an African language won't get her anywhere -- I'm being honest. Tanzanians also don't speak much English. Even if she chooses to stay in Tanzania, she's better off knowing some Mandarin. Yes, sure, African languages will get her far, but Mandarin will fetch her even more opportunities.
