Thanks for sharing this. I doubt traction alopecia is genetic as some are saying, but weaker follicles would definitely be genetic. Also if you both do/did similar styles, similar hair loss would make sense. She’s an excellent candidate for a transplant!

I just got my own FUE hair transplant, so topical creams and oils obviously didn't get me the results I wanted. HOWEVER, has your sis tried to apply sulfur topically? (Either Sulfur 8 or a homemade sulfur compound?) She may get some results if she tries PRP at a MedSpa. I didn't try that but I've seen good results online.
