@@jomujomu7513 I feel like it's mostly the case of 'if somebody is a fujoshi, they're often more _intense_ in their _hobby_ than most yuri-takus'. The yuri fans most often just see some yuri once in a while, say *"nice"* and get on with their day. Meanwhile, a stereotypical fujoshi is somebody who is almost obsessed with yaoi, makes a ton of their own cringy and often really out-of-character fanfics about their fav characters and overall spend more time on that 'hobby' of theirs. It's a bit like the case where PC gamers and mobile-only gamers are theoretically both just considered to be the same thing overall - "gamers", but the latter is much more casual-like in that whole 'being a gamer' aspect as opposed to the more "hardcore" gamers generally associated with the non-mobile platforms. Yes, in this comparison yuri fans are the 'mobile team' and fujoshis are the 'non-mobile team'.

@@Karsh. I can understand why they feel that way. Fujos definitely are a lot more open and vocal about their love for yaoi and ships than guys who like Yuri. Guys sort of like yuri but don't go as far as (some) fujoshi do with being extremists with their ships and shipping real life people, and it sort of kind of annoys people and makes the people who just like yaoi and ships and don't make it their life look bad. I'm a guy who is a fan of yaoi/BL, but I would never ship real life people and act like a fanatic about my ships and get angry at people for not agreeing them unlike (some) fujoshi do.
