Just subscribed. 🎉 I’m so excited to follow your journey! I’m on my second set of sisterlocks as well! I shaved my first set off bc I couldn’t figure out how to comb them out. 😩 Took me almost 2 years to grow it out to a good length but I’m so happy with my new set!

Nice locs! I enjoyed my sisterlocks when they were that length. Would you consider styling the front so it looks like bangs. That was something I loved doing at that length.

I will be getting my sister locks installed in December. I’m just curious, why are people combing their sisterlocks out?!?!😮

We have the same hair shape and density! Im going to be following your journey for hope and inspiration. I’m 4 months in and wondering if Its safe to cut my hair in the back. It has the same shape as yours my front is tighter and coarse and shorter, and my back half is longer and a little looser. Need some advice.

Gorgeous! How many locks do you have now? Is it 3 or 4 point rotation ? I have fine low density hair and had a prévious set of failed locks and was 3 point but i had way too much volume.. so i am hésitating with which technique to use and if i should wait until my hair recover before.doing a new installation since.i had lots of breakage and only 1 consultant in my area and not fully convinced... thanks for sharing it hélps a.lot

Thank you so much! I'll be sharing my lock count in the next video ;) And my lady used a 4pt rotation. I also have very fine hair, but it's also dense. I do wish I had given my hair a bit more time to recover before diving back in, so I hope you do a better job at that than me lol. I wish you the best on your journey!

@@vineyardhairbeauty7770ut of curiosity, why did you want to wait a bit longer? I'm asking because I'm combing mine out now thanks to seeing your videos lol and my plan was to go right back into it as well. I'm wondering how long I should wait.

Where are you located? At what length do you recommend that ones natural hair should be in order to get sisterlocs?

I do not like my reties tighten to the scalp. I think the tension will lead to hair loss over time. Especially in the crown area, edges and the nape…IMO
