@8:05 - Yes! I second this tip on never leaving home without one. Happened to me to. It was my first fall - my left toe stop was loose and I tripped once, didn't think much of it, but tripped again and fell and finally saw the toe stop jutting out more than usual, and had to leave and end the session after only 10-15 mins :( Skates were laced up snug and just perfect, too....

I need a bigger bag. My zuca bag works great for ice skates but not inline. Not enough room for protective gear for outdoor inline skating. Your safety bag is a great idea. I have two small clear bags that are now to hold spare parts and wheels. Should try and put some bandaids in my bag. What brand of new wheels did you get?

Safety gear can get pretty bulky😅 I used to have a bad habit of overpacking but the duffel seems the perfect size for me to take what I need and leave what I don’t at home. I can’t tell you how many times a stash of bandaids have helped in a pinch though! (Figuratively and literally) I’m honestly not sure of the brand of wheels, I bought them off eBay from a store that sells a bunch of different inline and quad wheels.

Hello! :) How long did it take you to receive your risport skates? I just ordered mine today... but i don't want them to take forever because I need to perform in a month. Thank you so much- just let me know if you remember.

I actually got those skates second hand so I’m not sure, sorry! You could try emailing or calling the distributor you bought them from maybe?

Hi! which number of Snow white frame # and size's you have?
@Hazook3 жыл бұрын
I have size 16 but it’s dependant on the length of the boot you plan to mount them onto! Check Snow White’s webpage for their sizing chart (some distributors also have copies of the chart on their websites).

Hey what size are your frames?? I have size 13 and my wheels are only 64 mm and im having a really hard time finding outdoor wheels that small. Also what hardness do you have/recommend for outdoor inline skating??
@Hazook3 жыл бұрын
I have size 16, so my wheels are 72mm. I’d recommend probably 85A or something similar to that, anything under 80A will get chewed up by most outdoor surfaces pretty easily. You could try looking at rollerblade retailers, they tend to have a wider selection of sizes and hardnesses. You could also order replacement wheels from the original retailer/manufacturer that you purchased your frames from!

How often do you change your wheels and toe stops?
@Hazook3 жыл бұрын
It’s hard to put a definite number to when to replace them, but there’s a certain point for both wheels and toe stops that it becomes too worn to use. With wheels, when the profile of the wheel gets too misshapen that rotating the wheel configuration won’t fix it, and with toe stops, when the bottom of the metal bolt gets close to tearing through the rubber (or when you feel that the toe stop isn’t properly working anymore from being misshapen through wear). My first toe stop, I only changed it after it started scratching my floor because the bottom of the bolt came out of the rubber, don’t let it get to that point!😅 Edit; oops I didn’t fully answer your question. With my wheels, this was my first time replacing them this since I got my skates so a little over a year, and with my toe stops, about 6-7 months. It depends on how often I skate though, I don’t really use my inlines in the winter but I’m on them every day in the summer.

90% of the time when I fall with my in-line skates I get a scratch.

Me too! By the end of summer, it got to the point where I’d almost always wear jeans to try to prevent it (it didn’t work if I fell onto my arms though😅)
