Im not saying this as hate but keep in mind that Kathleen’s skin isn’t like this by skincare routine alone. She’s transparent about Botox. I hope especially young girls keep this in mind and don’t have unrealistic expectations.

I have been watching Kathleen since years and years ago but stopped after the whole beauty community became a drama show. Nothing to do with Kathleen but I was sick of it. Years later I’m back wondering how Kathleen is doing and I’m glad you are the same u still genuine, friendly and down to earth. I’m also shocked to see you still look like a teenager. Please share your day/night skincare routine and lifestyle so I get some tips 😂❤

I have combo skin that’s also very sensitive, and I get those under the skin texture bumps too! I swear by pure castor oil - I like the Briogeo one, personally. I use CeraVe moisturizer in the morning and mix in half a pump of castor oil. It’s made a huge difference in my skin texture!! If I’m feeling particularly dry or irritated, I’ll slather on castor oil before bed and it calms my skin overnight. (It’s super sticky though, so let it sink in some before hitting the pillow!)

I love anything talking about skincare. Im older than you thought I have to use some much more potent products. Ive been told that cleanse is not that important because it literally on your face for a minute. As long as it cleans and doesn't totally strip your face it's fine. I use Cera Ve oil cleaner on no makeup days and pharmacy melt away on makeup days prior. I have used Fresh black tea eye cream for years. It is the best. it's very moisturizing, lasts and truly helps with dark circles. I also use their rose line. I have started switiching top some items especially for night. I've added The ordinary retinol, and a couple of serums to help enhance my moisturizing. Trying best to follow the korean 7-step system + switching products every 3 days.

I've been LOVING the juicy skin duo (H2Glow serum & balancing oil) and Rose Suds cleanser from the brand Clover. The serum & oil kind of smell like a** like the pineapple stuff you mentioned, but I find that the smell dissipates pretty quickly. The duo is so gentle but super moisturizing & the cleanser smells lovely and rinses really well without causing any tightness or dryness. The brand is also shockingly affordable for the quality of the products!

Kathleen!✨ I started following you years ago because we have similar complexions/colouring and we're around the same age, so your tutorials and advice were always very helpful. I just want to say thank you for sharing your experiences! I also have the same skin issues as you described - very sensitive skin that reacts weirdly to products (like changing texture) and getting under-the-skin bumps and roughness, so your insight is much appreciated again!!😊 Edit for the end of video question: The only skin care product I've re-purchased consistently is Clean&Clear's Acne Spot Treatment (Salicylic Acid), but I feel like recently it hasn't been as effective as it used to be and seems to expire kind of quickly.

Yay a skincare video! Whatever you're doing is working for you cos your skin looks amaaazing 👏 These are what work for me as a 32 Yr old woman who is on prescription Adapalene cream for acne. The mugwort clay mask from innisfree is the only clay mask I will ever use now. Calms my skin down so much but also sucks all the crap out. Mandelic acid is my favourite exfoliant I use it like twice a week. The ordinary copper peptide complex serum is my favourite anti aging product, I don't use it every night but the nights I do use it I always notice the difference in the morning and I feel since I started using it my skin just looks better overall in terms of hydration and youthfulness. I use Azalelic acid for brightening but the only formulation that I like is the one from a company called Facetheory, every other Azaleic acid product I've ever tried has really irritated my skin but this one doesn't. I have very dark circles under my eyes, they are mostly genetic but become worse without sleep or if I eat junk. So I've been trying eye creams since I was like 10 lmao. The two products I consistently use that I believe make a difference, or at least I notice my undereyes are worse when I don't use them are; The Ordinary caffeine solution 5% with EGCG and the heimish marine care eye cream. I use to just use the serum and didn't bother with an eye cream but I got a sample of the heimish one once and my mind was blown, hands down the best eye cream I've ever tried and I tried a tonnnn before I stopped using them. The Weleda Skinfood Light is the only moisturiser I've been using for about 2 years now, its the only cream moisturising enough that doesn't break me out 😅. FYI I do not recommend the original Weleda Skinfood for the face, they are very different products, the original is super heavy and thick and breaks me out, but works fantastic for my hands, elbows and knees 👌 The Ren Evercalm overnight recovery balm, I use a pea size amount rubbed between my hands as the last step of my routine at night to seal everything in and always wake up with my skin looking better than before. I've tried similar products before but they were often too heavy and broke me out. The only equivalent product which is what I was using before is pure cold pressed Argan Oil but it doesn't have the calming benefits that the Ren product does. La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Invisible fluid non-perfumed suncream spf 50+ is hands down the best spf I've tried, most spf products break me out. I also just love the texture and the the glow it gives my skin without being greasy or heavy at all. Looks great under makeup and doesn't collect in the fine lines under my eyes or make anything look dry.

I highly recommend the Krave Beauty Great Barrier Relief serum!! I used to be super oily with major breakouts and not I’m not combo but the areas that are dry are DRY AF. However, this serum worked wonders for both and healed any acne spots so freaking fast. Mainly I use it at night cuz it can be slightly heavy due to the tamanu oil but even my brother and mom who have dry skin love it. Truly truly worth it ❤️

Kathleen I hope you see this if not, I hope this is helpful for others but DON'T USE ALOE directly after cutting on your face Trim off the base and end of the leaf, along with those spiky serrated edges. Soak the leaf, keeping it fully submerged to help the latex leech out. Wait until the water turns a cloudy yellow color. Replace the water until it stays clear. It can cause more irritation to some people

Try putting the eyecream before any other cream/moisturizer. It’ll absorb more and also protect that area. If it’s retinol do it with care, since you’ll probably see the actual results of the cream lol. Do your research before, of course, but generally our patients tend to benefit from this❤

I live in NYC so my skin gets tired and gross really quick with the air quality and day to day stuff. I wear minimal makeup and use rose water spray to refresh my skin. I will try the Claudile face mask and will report back ( I have a few of those samples from my Sephora orders) Will report back 😂❤ Also I am going to try the Sunday Riley trick on stubborn acne spots that appear once in a blue moon and finally about to use my aloe plant 🪴 as a mask 😅

I can vouch for the Prequel Universal Skin Solution Dermal Spray. It's the only thing that has helped the small patch of eczema I have on my arm...nothing else worked! I will try their cleanser as I have been using Origins for several years but ya know, dat's esspensive. 😆 Thanks for your recs, Kathleen!

I have combo oily skin and I had breakouts all the time and i think it was from ruining my skin barrier with BHA/AHA pads. I stopped using those and put the cosRx snail mucin and the all in one cream into rotation when fall started and holy crap my skin got so good. I repaired my barrier and stopped breaking out. I slowly introduced the A313 retinol by french pharmacy in like once a week and that seems to take care of my texture. I still use a BHA/AHA on like a monthly or every other month basis but not daily like i used to. I also started using the peptide serum from cosrx which I have been loving so far. They also have great sheet masks with the snail mucin and they are so affordable for a 10 pack!

I know it's lame but Vanicream is without a doubt my favorite skincare brand. I think you would really like their Daily Facial Moisturizer! According to Amazon Carli and I have gone through 17 tubes lol. Ive also been loving everything I've tried from Prequel. I just re-ordered their Universal Skin Solution Spray and I grabbed the Skin Utility Gel, which has been great!

My favorite chemical exfoliador is the Krave Beauty one and then I top with their Great Barrier relief serum. Been using that for years and exfoliating night is my favorite. Just recently purchased Beauty of Joseon SPF and their cleanser and moisturizer. I’m on the Korean skin care train and I don’t want to get off. ¨̮ Dry skin. Sahara Desert.
