As for the Hoya Compacta Varigated plant. I recently bought one that was very small, the root system was not very developed. I decided to put her in Leca, her roots began to grow very quickly, and she has tripled in size in 2 months. The white leaves that you have on yours will probably not fall off. I've seen very large ones with lots of white leaves. Also, my Snake plant that I propagated from my mother plant tends to grow very quickly. I have not had any luck with Christmas Cactus or Thanksgiving ones, they never grow for me! Cacti will grow a lot faster if you have an outdoor space to put them out in the summer. Good luck. I love your videos.

I bought a bunch a hoyas in the last weeks and I think at this moment, they are my slowest growing plants (granted, most of them are cuttings, so they have to have a decent root system before putting new leaves, so that’s the reason I guess haha ). In your top ten, some of your plants are actually moderate to fast grower for me! Like my scindapsus Exotica and the Monstera Thai Constellation! Some plants you just have to wait for the root system to be well established before seeing new growth happening :) Once your Monstera Thai is established you’ll see a new leaf every month during growing season :)

I now live in Vancouver WA but most of my plant experience is from Bay Area California. My non variegated Hoya rope is indeed non changing but it might of grown some leaves and I didn’t really notice. My Philo Brazil and Scindapsus Exotica are siblings because I bought them the same day and I’ve only had one growing season with them in which they had a fair amount of growth but they seem to have frozen in growth again. I have a plain green stripey sansaveria and I’d say it has decent light and does not grow. I have no success with any ferns 😭. I have no monstera albo, Thai or plain, cacti, or large leaf ficus :P 💙
