I have the same issue with long bag straps that don’t have a keeper to hold down the flappy end. A hack I use is to get an elastic band or thin hair tie of the same colour as the strap, to hold down the flapping end. You need to unbuckle the strap first then feed the elastic through, roll it into the desired position on the strap, then re-buckle the strap, and feed the strap end through the elastic band. Depending on the size of the elastic band, you might need to loop it around the strap two or there times to get it tight enough to hold down the strap. Hope that all makes sense! 😅

A keeper, of course. Do you know I couldn't remember what is was called, thank you. I've tried the hair tie thing because him indoors uses a hair tie on one of his bags. The problem is I have OCD so I can't cope with using something as a keeper that isn't a keeper, if you know what I mean. Thank you so much for your comment, I really do appreciate it.

Have you looked into one of those chain shortening clips? It may work for what you need. While it might not clip into a chain link, you might be able to shorten several inches by having the T bar on each side slip into the clip.

I have some of those Step and the problem is although there's a T-bar under the flap (which usually means you cab remove the chain or at the very least move it) the chain doesn't move. There's a slighter larger link above the grommet on th top of the flap. I do think I'm getting more used to longer chains/straps on shoulder bags. My new 19 WOC is probably about the same length and that feels ok. I can't wear bags crossbody, I find it uncomfortable. Oh dear, I'm doing that chatterbox thing again 😂

Beautiful bags i av the medium darley and the small bayswater satchel both in oxblood i have loved /wanted mulberry since 2006 but could neva afford one now i have 3 i adore. Keep the darley as you said the leather the colour just beautiful anyway another great video i love ur channel keep these videos coming ps hope you feel better soon ❤

Love your Mulberry collection. I have 5 different Mulberry bags and love them so much. If you decided to sell your tan Bayswater I would definitely be interested to buy it. 🙂 I am a little obsessed with tan bags.

I have the classic bayswater in oxblood and the medium alexa in a beautiful shiny black.i bought both last year and like you im very impressed with the quality.i have 4 hermes bags and the quality of leather and making is comparable.i will surely buy a few more mulberry bags.i dont have a chanel woc and will get one from mulberry instead.coz chanel prices have become ridiculous in the last 3 years.

It's good to hear from someone who has both Mulberry and Hèrmes bags and agrees that the quality is comparable. I totally agree with you about Chanel prices. I saved a lot of money buying my Chanel WOC from a consignment store.
