@@BoardArchivehell yeah!!! Get some days. In paper i figure they would be pretty close and some overlaps

Super DOA definitely brings more stability to the table, but the Mercury has a more versatile shape

Will you use the magnetic MFI face covers that goes with the Anon mask? I love those :D
@zackbutler950Күн бұрын
Tj, do you consider the force to be suitable for a beginner with some days under their belt? Or something like the strata/ultra would be better? I plan on more all mountain riding with some freestyle out on the hill, I don’t see myself being in the park, or hard charging. There’s also no pow here on the ice coast lol
@ZER0-C00L2 күн бұрын
Love the union force bindings. Marino wool is key. I’m rockin the capita mercury this season with Burton AK gear. Need a new helmet, thanks for the recommendation. Boots and outside gear I’ll have to check those out next time I need upgrade and cant forgot the goto dakine backpack. 🏂

How does the sizing on the air hole balaclava work? I’m a medium helmet size what size would you recommend?
@BoardArchive2 күн бұрын
I would make your best judgement based on their size charge. They stretch so they fit a range of sizes. I wear the M/L
@chriswoodard8813Күн бұрын

but the riding is so 🔥 it melts everything, so good

When you’re riding you are melting snow under your board which allows it to move.

$350 for goggles what an inaccessible sport
@Branagorn2 күн бұрын
While I agree with you, yes winter sports ARE prohibitively expensive (lift pass for example). You’ve referenced possible THE most expensive option for goggles available, others options are there. If you took any given sport/hobby, some company will be offering a platinum, space grade ott offering should people feel the desire to buy it.
@josephjiran95002 күн бұрын
No one who continues with snow sports for a long period of time started out with $350 goggles. Everyone started on cheap gear. Over a long period of time and by making it a priority, you upgrade your gear. Snow sports are accessible, but there is an entry barrier and it all sums up to “do you want it bad enough?”
@billlyanaireКүн бұрын
You can score decent goggles for under 100$ if you look hard enough. The mountains are worth the effort
