OMG, the "pop music content" hit the nail in the head for me. I'm in the personal finance niche and sometimes I feel stuck because only the "hacky" videos as you call them seem to perform well. It gets exhausting!
@mindleaves4 жыл бұрын
I resonated with that too - she mentioned it in one of her podcasts as well. Especially with the personal finance - viewers usually just want the quick fix answers.

Continuing your analogy, I feel like "pop content" videos are like the hits on an album and your more raw and real videos are the other ballads on your album that only your fans really get around to listening to. You've got to have a little bit of both to make a full album.

I’m only halfway through but I just wanted to say how true everything you said about KZbin is. I originally saw your instagram growth hacks video (the viral one) but I ended up with more insight and realized that vanity metrics aren’t everything!! Also “pop music content” is so spot on. I love your transparency! ❤️

LOVE your description of "pop music" content! Soooo true. I call it anchor content, ie the content with all the catchy keywords. In fitness, it's videos like "how to reveal your six pack abs" or "how to get toned arms for summer." Super fluffy but gets the eyes on your channel and encourages people to watch more. Thanks for all you do!

I'm pretty new to creating content on KZbin. I have definitely learned that it is a totally different ball game here than it is on any social media platform. That is why I appreciate this video so much because it sheds some light on the differences as far as the context of each platform and how they can be utilized

I launched a podcast earlier this year and have been so surprised at how many people it's converted into clients. It's a fantastic way to nurture and really get people to know you, like you mentioned in this video. I loved all the tips you talked about! Very insightful. Thank you!

For me, building my online business was taking too much out of me, because I tend to get overwhelmed very easily. But this "every platform has a purpose" made such a big difference for me. I was trying to get traffic and deals from every platform but now I can really see how these social media serve me. I love your podcast as well! There’s so much educational content in there !

Thanks for explaining Vanessa! I have two podcasts and will attest to the ability to cover far more territory than KZbin but video interviews or recordings of yourself will help. Plus, there’s always b-roll to make it more interesting! 🎬 Podcasts are total door openers because people feel comfortable collaborating or being interviewed about. Topic when they may not have to be on video. Even when you’re inactive people will find you and reach out. I’ve been amazed by that over the last year while I’ve been on a corporate contract and unable to be as consistent with producing and promoting. 🤷🏻♀️🥳

Your content is cool and all that, but for me, I subscribed because of your personality in front of the camera, it lights up my day. So it doesn't matter to me what video you put out, it's that energy you give it with that beautiful smile, that's why I follow on all platforms. Your persona is motivating. Yes. We recorded a podcasts with video where we sit and speak and I found out that if we will focus on audio it makes process so much easier and faster. And increase the quality of sound design in a podcast. Because video component was distracted us from things that really matters. And... when you record without record it’s pretty often that you showing some gestures and stuff. But when you understand that nobody will see you. It makes you speak more... to the point

I've been utilizing it for my Travel Tip Tuesdays and I've loved it! I think another thing about "pop music" content that's important to note is that it's all about the way you film it. Whenever I'm feeling creatively drained I'll still make the subject a trending topic, but film it in a different way. For example, in my recent content I've been vlogging more and showing my life in other ways besides business while still teaching business owners how to create video content

Amen, its about your business. So when I was in my own business, before the virus hit, I had a bus company that took groups on bus trips to places like Casinos. Now I would not ever go to the a casino myself, however I did advertise that my buses would go to Casinos cuz that was one of the popular destinations, whether I like it or not. But I will say, you are right, when it comes to what clients want, it really is "the customer is King or Queen". Now I luv youtube, but I know very little about Instagram so that's why I'm her to learn how to build a business on youtube, instagram and pinterest, whether I like the platform or not.
