I'm still shocked your team was only 4 people at that point and you were able to get that much work done. I'm so proud of you and it's been great watching you grow. Whew, that was a long one sis, packed with soooo much great content. I'm fairly new but recently reached 100 subscribers. Yay me. I've been watching and learning more about social media strategies from you of course. Actually, I signed up with Sunny Lenarduzzi because of you! Like you, I'm focusing on building an email list (finally) and learning to repurpose my YT content on different platforms. I'm a solo run shop so I felt your plea to not take on too much without a team. I look forward to the day I can share I've finally hired someone to get this business rolling. Thanks so much for the full transparency. You're the best!

I freaking love that you're being so real about where you're at and what you want to see change. It's so comforting to see something other than "life is perfect and I get millions of new followers every single minute" from successful people. Seeing that you have worked smart to get to where you are, become successful but still want to keep growing, learning and becoming more consistant!! It makes me feel like I can become successful without being perfect at EVERYTHING!

Vanessa Ive been following you for a show and am a BGA student! I love how you've shared your new strategy and talked about what mistakes you think you've made. Sometimes when I watch your old social strategies I disagree with some aspects of it , but when I watched this you actually validated some of those thoughts and I so admire you for sharing your before and after strategies!! I am learning so much from this video and will implement some of your findings to my own. 2021 is gonna be such an amazing year for you (and hopefully me) and I can't wait to see how it unfolds for you and your amazing team ❤️ Thanks so much for taking the time to create this video and also be so open with it! One idea is do a clubhouse room and do your solo podcast episode LIVE on clubhouse (you being the only one that can speak) and then move into 20-30 minutes of Q&A or discussion with the audience. Pull a few audience members up who raise their hands. This is great for a couple reasons: 1) If anything wasn’t clear during your episode, you get immediate feedback so you can clarify/edit before you post the episode, 2) You could record the Q&A as well and have more content clips available to share on other social media I’ve found clubhouse to be an incredible platform and some rooms that I am interested in: entrepreneurship, digital marketing, offers, etc have been so good and had top players in each field hosting rooms. I do think that the room quality has fallen a bit. Another aspect of clubhouse is that it really rewards networking snd tag-teaming rooms with peers in your field so you both bring your audiences to the room and you both don’t have to be ON all the time. You can keep rooms open longer by handing off leadership. And more audiences come and can cross-pollinate. If you’re solo and not interested in cooperating with other leaders in/around your niche, your success in terms of follower growth will be limited.

Great video, Vanessa. And yes, what you've mentioned about your email list. If you don't focus on it more, it will just be an expensive business expense. 100K email subscribers isn't cheap to maintain and if your readers aren't engaging with it, it's basically throwing away money.

Loving this content start to finish. I am an Android user and I do have adhd tendencies as well, therefore with Clubhouse I think I would do a lot of listening and note-taking only🤷🏽♀️ It seems like a lot and I know I would be easily distracted. Thank you for your transparency about all of these platforms, because that's my issue now. One of my mentor's says to get on all of them and another mentor says focus on 2 to 3 only 🤦🏽♀️ Therefore, I can completely relate to how you're feeling with so many different places to ficus on content. I believe the problem with newsletters is that the gurus out there send selfish information. I don't care about their new products, new Master class, new challenge, new launch, new vlog, blog or post. If there is nothing in that post for ME, I just unsubscribe. Besides the frequency is too often that everyone (newsletter senders) is competing to have their email open. If everyone could just send 1 newsletter a month with high value everyone will have an opportunity to be read. But no, gurus out there says that you have to send as much emails as you can... and at the end the opening rate drops for everyone. Somebody has to change this conversation.

As a former Executive Admin please treat them like gold. Everyone just takes abuse the EA because they are just an "assistant" we do a lot and never get any praise lol ALSO CLUBHOUSE! I jumped on it because I wanted to see what the hype is about..... it is honestly so boring. Many people love it because they can fake their way as an expert and have people believe in them and purchase their services or product. I believe for you Vanessa it would be beneficial because you're so good at speaking and people really want to hear from you that your rooms would be jampacked which then means more sales and more publicity for you. However, for us mere mortals its boring AF LOL

"TicTok is just 15 year olds" 15 years old and perhaps earlier; is the time to start learning about entrepreneurship, business and how to be successful in achieving your goals. If you wait until someone is older and damaged by the fake friends that they will inevitably run into in life, you will have to overcome the trust issues that they developed as a result of those that did them harm. When you can take those young, "I'm invulnerable, nothing can stop me" aspiring to conquer the world youngsters, and put valid and true principles that lead to success into their hands... Well, I think you can see where that will go without me spelling it out.
