im a finnish person and i love that u actually went and tryied a lot of different things because almost always travel vlogs in finland is just visiting santas village, maybe skiing and thats about it. im glad you enjoyied your time here

@@BayleQuek Well the main building is right beside the igloos. Still a tough call to head out though. And yes, the cold does make it worse so I avoided drinking too much water before I went to bed

Cross-country skiing definitely looks easier than it is but once you get the hang of it, it's really fun! But of course i also understand it's not for everyone. 😁 I think you might have had a bit easier time if your ski poles had been the right fit, yours definitely were too long for you (at least from what i could see in the video). The ideal height is around your shoulder and for a beginner i'd say to go even a bit shorter to start with. ☺️

beautiful travel vlog man. ill be doing my lapland trip this month and am kinda nervous on driving on snow as its my first time. may i know what car did you rent and from which company? was your car AWD or 4x4 drive? How was your experience driving on snow and icy roads? and what car will you recommend to rent?

Thanks a lot! I feel your nerves too. I think I rented from europcar I believe, just a normal sedan car with all weather tyres. You can try to request for winter tyres. Tbh it felt pretty much normal, you just have drive slower on roads covered with snow, and just avoid speeding altogether

As long as you're adequately insulated from the cold ground and the sleeping bag is rated for freezing temperatures, I find it that it's more warm and comfortable to sleep in your underwear and taking the underlayer off inside the sleeping bag and when waking up putting it on while inside the sleeping bag. Full gear jacket and all inside sleeping bag looks so horribly uncomfortable to me. Man watching these 2 videos makes me miss winter even though summer hasn't even started yet

My host did tell me to not wear any down jacket in the sleeping bag. But it was absolutely freezing for those nights

Yes. That is the way to do it. It might sound odd, but it is warmer to sleep and your body heat warms the clothes inside the bag for morning ( put them at your feet. ).
