Dev I want to reach and say thank you for going to Dollywood and showing it and the hotels to others. I LOVE that it's very clear how much you do enjoy it and really FEEL the area. I moved away at 18 but plan to move back and it is home. We visit often and there is something so special about the area. I grew up going to Dollywood school field trips, friends working there etc and it's such a special place. There is such a unique feeling to all the things Dolly has helped create. I am sad you didn't care much for the apple stack cake, but it is something that's more about the roots and the location versus a over the top dessert. A simple,cheap, readily available sweet for people in the area. My grandmother made them alot and it's a favorite of mine but I know nostalgia has alot to do with it. Excited to see your Dollywood day video

Man when I see Dollywood I just think "potential" it has so much going right for it and they just go at their own pace. Every couple of years they just add another fun piece to their puzzle. The only thing I say year after year they're missing.. they need that E Ticket immersive dark ride. They need their version of Na'vi River Journey or the like. That and one more land expansion I think could make them a multi day park. Don't get me wrong you can have a blast, but its not quite like a full week park yet.. maybe thats not a bad thing? Its just the right size where you're not overwhelmed. Awesome video buddy, love seeing you back up our way and showing Dollywood some love!

I agree they do need one massive dark ride to really complete that park. They did announce a new attraction is coming in time for the 40th anniversary next year.

The reason there’s so many fireflies is because once a year in the Gatlinburg national Forest, there’s a firefly festival where all the fireflies come out and people come from all over the country to check it out. Fun fact, you can get Springer Mountain Farms Chicken in Publix in the frozen section (blue bags!), all of their varieties are really good, the breaded ones are gluten-free. I get their chicken strips and cook them in the air fryer & use them to make all types of stuff like chicken Parmesan, just chicken tenders, Caesar chicken salad, Chicken Alfredo, you name it!

Buffalo Trace is tricky to find! I can’t remember if FL is a dry state but we actually found some in the gas station by our house in MO! They were selling it for $38 so my husband got two then told the owner what he had and the price went up to $50! Good luck and check gas stations if they sell alcohol.

there are many things to do within the area and yes the Parks have a lot of roller coasters but there are some other rides to do and activities that can be done and places. Dollywood has different hotels and it's located within the Smoky mountains off of pigeon forge and pigeon forge is a very busy place with lots of great things and shows to do it's like their version of Orlando I do not ride roller coasters but I cannot wait to go

If you flew on Allegiant Airline they fly out of Sanford/Orlando straight shot to Knoxville NO LAYOVERS!!! And Allegiant has some good deals I always upgrade to extra legroom because of the deals. The last I flew from Knoxville to Atlanta it was a 30 minute flight. I live in a suburb of Knoxville.
