I just read a book about Ernest Shackleton who was an explorer in the early twentieth century. And seeing this video where you cross the Drakes Passage in this enormous ship, it is crazy that he did the same in a 12 feet long emergency boat filled with rocks, almost no food and water for after to mountains with only a rope, FOR then to start several rescue mission to save his crew that were stuck on a beach on Elephant Island in the Antarctics. Nobody died. And how the world have changed to today, my god 🙌

I commend how wonderful this video is in terms of giving the world a sneak peak into this precious place. But I cannot help think that this kind of content is what inspires more humans to visit and taking away from the pristineness of these places. Not only this feels like an extremely anthropocentric experience, but prioritises "getting the experience" over leaving these extremely precious biomes alone. All in all this video just broke my heart a little more about the humam×nature interaction.

As I watched your video, I was struck by the raw beauty of the landscape, the vast expanse of ice and snow that stretched out before you like a blank canvas waiting to be painted. Your words and images captured the essence of this awe-inspiring place, and I felt as if I were there with you, experiencing the wonder and majesty of the world's last true wilderness. Your solo trip was not just an adventure but a pilgrimage, a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment. Wow!!! I'm going to be working with Seabourn on this expedition as a photographer and lecturer next fall and watching this video was just so unbelievably special, I cried twice out of excitement! This video is so informative and well-shot, so excited to see the rest of your work now!

Incredible work! It's also amazing to me how good consumer/prosumer cameras have gotten these days. We have definitely come a long way from the 1980s VHS camcorders!

Lot's of Love From INDIA 🇮🇳. Hat's off to you 👌, not easy to make video on this kind of weather. It's easy to watch but lot's of hard work behind this. 🙏

Stay the hell away from it. This bozo woman should not have gone either. If you are even 1% environmentalist, you'd realize that we are destroying this great landscape because "ooohhhh pretty picture".
