This vlog captures my first two days travelling solo for the first time in beautiful Lisbon! I've always hated being alone, and I really wanted to push myself and try this Europe solo travel thing... so here I am!
I tried my best to capture authentic moments and document how I was actually feeling along the way... I'm not sure how many episodes this series will be but I am having fun learning to vlog and edit and dig deeper into my passion for creating!

Loved your vlog.. I traveled solo for the first time this year to Europe. I’ve been a solo traveler for a while now but only in the continental US. This was big for me this year to go to a foreign country just me myself and I 😂. So everything you touched upon I felt a lot of also. You do feel a little bit rushed because you feel like there’s so many things to see. But you get confused because you are on your own schedule and you can do it whenever and whatever you want. But I realized during a lot of solo travel is that you have a heightened sense of awareness. You notice things around you a lot more and you can take it in a lot more. When do you do it the first time you can’t imagine yourself not doing it again and again. Of course going with friends is always great and you can always do that also. But at least you know that you have another option. And that freeing sense that you can do it solo, gives you an even greater feeling of independence. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I’m going to Lisbon actually next year with a friend of mine but if she decides to tap out I’m gonna go anyway😂

I enjoyed your video. Thank you. Could you tell more about how you got from the airport to your air b & b? Did you use s taxi or Uber or train? At the airport did you buy a sim chip for your phone ? What area of town did you stay at?

I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I took the bus! I believe there was two that I had to take to get to my BNB... but I remember following the signs at the airport for bus into the city and used the wifi to see which ones I needed to take! I did the whole trip with no data or sim card... wifi only! :) I was living on the edge hahah. I stayed closer to the "Ponte 25 de Abril" bridge! But it was very quick and easy to get into the city center!

I honestly just kinda winged it haha! It took me a little while to find the places I liked on AirBnb... and only once I got to Lisbon I started to just look on my google maps and tagged a bunch of random things I wanted to see! I use Pinterest a lot for travel inspo too :)
