Your right, you were 15 once. Glad to see you were more concerned about him than the cart. That can be fixed. Your a great father.

You must have had a good father yourself to handle this the way you did. I’m glad your son came away with just lessons learned . It could have gone sideways in a few dozen ways. Good luck with the rebuild, I’ll be following as always.

Your son is very lucky! That's why golf carts don't come with 35" tires! Maybe put a roll bar to help the occupants?

This is Wholsome. I used to say the exact same thing literally like how you said it when I crashed my dad’s Fourwheelers multiple times, I was so scared I would be in trouble. But every time i said sorry he’d look me dead in the eyes and say “Son, that Fourwheeler, means absolutely nothing to me compared to you. the wheelers fixable, your not. That’s all I care about.” The respect I have for fathers like these man… you could’ve went the trouble way like a lot of parents do without thinking. (no respect for said parents ^ ) and had the kid shooken up with being in trouble for accidentally wrecking, let alone just the wreck itself. Because those are traumatizing as a little kid!

And I’m glad I listened to my father, because my injuries outweighed any trouble. I couldn’t walk, sit or stand for months. I may have been going a little too fast BUT we’re kids and shits gonna happen.

Gotta question. If you made a video on it, I can't find it. For a stock club car (1997) 48 volt. Are group 24 batteries acceptable or do they need to be group 31 in size? Most videos do not state the sizes when reviewing.

kzbin.infoEhBbmkl4pMU?si=Vp-Wh-ibhJMtU3ka I need your help on which wire to hook the signal light mirrors to. I placed the link so you can see my cart and advise me. I have the alpha deluxe grille on it now and the foglights are connected to the daytime running lights. It’s a red/white wire and black ground. Which wire is the signal light wire on the back of the headlights?

Maybe if it was on 20’s it would still be upright. Everyone owns a golf cart these days and haven’t played a lick of golf. HOA’s preferred sheep vehicle for the neighborhood. Who wants to walk anymore? Let’s spend $15,000 on a battery with a body on it.

Glad he's okay but why would you put in tires on a golf cart that is 2wd electric and why you walk so far when you could have drove to your son all set up FAKE
@Tatertot_Tommy11 күн бұрын
It's a real possibility that your son can't drive. And apparently there's some evidence to support that hypothesis. Here's an idea: Roll bar.
