I've set the focus hold button to toggle aps-c mode very handy for that extra reach.

Nice! I’ve thought about that, but when I had the apsc toggle on a button, I would find myself occasionally hitting the button and being inadvertently in apsc mode. 😒

Hi! I could totally do a video about that....the problem is that shadow recovery and noise are highly subjective. It would just be me giving my opinion on how tolerable it is compared to other cameras.

Is there an advantage to using APS-C mode over just cropping in post? Don't you actually lose some resolution?

You for sure lose resolution, but I find that I have a higher chance of hitting focus when going to APSC mode than trying to nail focus from far away and cropping in post. Hope that makes sense

Uncompressed RAW should be the faster option for sequence shooting.

Did you shoot only jpg? Hopefully you also shot RAW, because the picture profile doesn’t get baked into RAW files

Hey! I suggest shooting RAW all of the time so you have the most flexibility in post. You can shoot JPG as well if want to share your images very fast with little to no editing. Good luck!

Hi Matt, if I format the sd card, would it also delete all the settings like Picture Profiles Settings that I have set before? If so, what would you do, when the SD card is full? Would you delete the photos one by one ?

Formatting won't delete the PP settings. It will however delete the Custom Function M1 through M4. I wish those would get saved in the camera's internal memory. I stopped deleting the photos via pc because it leaves some ghost files (with a grey preview) in the camera.
