I had a “white Canadian squirrel” custom made by SSL to try out their hair and I can say it’s not WCS. It seems like a type of pine squirrel and yes it still very soft and is a great hair type. I was still very happy with the quality of hair and the brush they made me was excellent😊.

Exactly! It reminds me of my Takeda White Pine Squirrel brushes. Still very soft & wonderful blending power. I absolutely agree, even though not actually White Canadian squirrel, it is a great hair type! I’m so glad you love the one they made you too. ☺️

Yes your #2 is the pic that my SSL powder brush is modelled from for sure. I have with the African rosewood and black ferrule. I am soooo tempted to purchase the last #9 to have it in kolinsky mix but am sitting on hands

Awesome video ! I’m interested in the mix hair ones especially the red squirrel mix and the shape and size is what I also gravitate towards as well. Absolutely! 06 would be wonderful for cream or liquids. Sold out now, but I’ve seen it restock. I’ve even used the tapered 05 with creams/ liquids too.
