Wow. That's crazy! My doctor told me I could go to work when I left the hospital. He didn't tell me at all to lie down for 48 hours! Kinda blows my mind. Needless to say, U had to go home from work yesterday. The drive home was the worst drive I've ever had lol. I agreed to cover someone's shift today and I don't know, I guess I'm gonna try, but I'm afraid it's gonna be too much again. My arms and entire spine just ache right now, and when I stand, my head hurts horribly and I get sick, too. I dunno. I hope today is better, but after watching your video, I kinda can't believe my doctor would instruct me to go to work.

They discharge me without any discharge instructions and only told me to take it easy for the rest of the day

The vomiting sounds like me after drinking. My fiancé also helps me when I’m home if I’m doing that. I also understand about the vomiting everything where nothing comes out anymore because I have crohns and when I have a bad flare up that happens and i can’t eat or drink anything.

What was your result from the spinal tap?
@thea135 жыл бұрын
They found the pressure was slightly low but not enough to be concerned when they were gathering it. But all the testing came back clear for any infections, diseases, etc. so ultimately it didn’t lead to anymore answers.

I’m so nervous. I might get one right after my neurology appointment :( I hate big needles
@thea135 жыл бұрын
The good news is you don’t see the needle 😅 but if you are having a lot of stress I would ask your nurse and Dr if you can have some medication to help you like I did because that really made a huge difference for me. The actual procedure is a lot less scary than I thought it was. Just follow the instructions and lay flat on your back for 48-72 hours and don’t roll around in your sleep like my dumb ass did lol.

Daily headaches. Had you seen a neurologist? Did they diagnose you? Did they look for pseudo tumor? It is common but I’m a doctor and i only let anesthesia touch my spine. They are the best The caffeine is to help not get headaches Didn’t help much huh

Pls help me. My sister undergone spinal tap 1 month ago. Her headache is gone but she is suffering with back pain. Did this happen to you too ? How long will back pain remain. Pls share. I'll be thankful to you.
@thea135 жыл бұрын
I just have to say first off I am not a medical processional but If I were you I would contact the surgeons office that did the operation and follow the instructions they give. Or regular doctor that prescribed the procedure for instructions, even a nurse advice line. But to get the fastest diagnosis and most likely the doctors will tell you to go to the emergency room. I would tell you to do the same.

Hi im from the uk..hope ur well...my wife was suffering from headaches so went to a and e so they gave her a lumbar puncture it all came clear and cat scans and blood samples too..how long did ur headaches last for?
@thea135 жыл бұрын
Hi there, thank you for your well wishes and I hope you and your wife are doing well. Here’s a link to a video I did a long time ago where I go more in depth about my condition (I hope this link works) kzbin.info/www/bejne/h53YlpmYiLqgars But the short of it is I’ve had a headache 24/7 for 3 years now and unfortunately all my tests have came back clear also. I have a link to a discord server discord.gg/rdP6ea8 this link is also in the description of that video where people can talk about their experience and the tests/ treatments they’ve done. I hope this helps.
