Hell yeah Doyle. So cool to see the behind the scenes of this project come to life, what a transformation! Your words at the end hit me hard, truer words have never been spoken. Great video brother, very well done.

Nice Job, I have a Raddinson which is similiar . your front end needs some weight in it when you are solo.

Great job. I have one of these I fixed leaks on last year. This spring I want completely reseal the outer seams and then give it a coat of paint too. Also going to install a wood yoke and seats as well. Gonna try making my seats so we'll see what that's like. It's always nice to see someone take something that someone else sees no value in and reintroduce life into it. Just curious if you're mainly going to solo why didn't you position the seat a bit more to the bow/front? It would've let the canoe sit a bit flatter on the water, wouldn't it? I also started to use a kayak paddle when I'm alone in my canoe and love it.

very nice rebuild, love the color. I just bought a Sportspal 14 feet transom, awesome boat (my daughter call it "le ca-noupe", an hybrid between a canoe and a boat). I will try to make memories too !

What did u use for those patches?

Quick dry epoxy mix, I tried a spray on flex seal but it didn’t work so great.
