What is your take on when you are married to a Narcissist? Where the marriage goes through 3 month cycles. Things are sometimes ok but then every three months things are REALLY bad. He is not walking with God and says that is His personal thing and has nothing to do with me. God is EVERYTHING to me. I live and breath for God.

On the brink of divorce. So many times. You just have to rely on God and here’s the trick. Treat them like they are Jesus when they walk in the door. How would Jesus treat them?? Do it like that And rely on god

This sounds exactly what my husband and I are going through. He is not anti-faith. Ive hurt him very deeply and he doesn't want to go to counseling, marriage therapy, church, or anything to do with God. Im choosing to stand and fight for my marriage. He keeps saying he needs time. But I am vowing to go to church, marriage rettreats, etc---even if I have to go alone. It hurts but this podcast was right on time.

Please pray for my marriage also. My wife filed for divorce & I just received the papers a few days ago. No biblical grounds for it. She just wants to go... 😔💔🙏 After I asked for her reasons it appears to me that she's just making up excuses to go... Something isn't right... 🙏🙏🙏 I'm continuing my walk with God, but my wife isn't going to church anymore & doesn't want to do counseling at all. I'm out of options. I just keep praying & surrendering everything to God.

Izzy Prayers for you and your wife this morning. I’m going thru the same thing ( the difference being there are multiple reasons my husband left) infidelity on his part and separation from God on both our parts- which obviously led to the issues we’re facing. It took 3 months of me cursing him before God showed me my part in the fiasco. You work on YOU and your heart and pray for the Holy Spirit to work on her and her hardness of heart. Jesus can give you a brand new heart HE’S capable of giving both of you a trade UP for a shattered heart and a heart of stone ❤️

We aren't on the same faith page. And we battle this disagreement often. Work is first and most often and family seems second to me the spouse.

I love this podcast! Are we as Christians supposed to tell the truth to our spouses? With all due respect if my husband tells me something that I need to hear it's not what he says is how he says it.It's also my heart that needs to be healthy enough to receive correction and and edification. I know how hard it can be to hear the truth about yourself. however......... I think God gave us spouses-to-be that mirror and I think it all boils down to this.We all ( should be attempting to) or need to mature so that we can be better for one another. Sure the true should be spoken in love not out of a spiteful posture of your heart.(perfect world) I'm divorced and I know before I was remarried there was a lot that I needed to work on and they're still things I need to work on.(less today though) One thing I found out.is a unhealthy heart not just spews out hurt it receives everything hurtfully. So my encouragement to any man or woman listening to this podcast is to work on you.Chances are the person that is the better spouse still has some areas and their heart they need to work on!

Hi guys how amazing are your podcasts wondering if you could help me with my marriage after 4 years after betrayal as well sexual abbuce and finding photo of my daughter her step dad and also she accused him of inappropriately touching her when she was 13:says nothing happened .l have tried helping him to get counciling but unfortunately he has had to deal with this past.So unfortunately l still don't have trust back also still don't feel lm safe.God has been my strength allowed me to have a clear mind so I could see what pornography can create in a marriage.Wow so destructive so draining.lm trying so much to hang in to what once was an amazing marriage.God bless you 😇😇

I feel your podcast doesn't speak enough about "wives" not being on the same faith page. Information you provide speakers to husbands who are the only ones who need help. This is not always the case. My wife doesn't share the same teachings of Christ and makes living with faith difficult for me. Your podcast is not helpful for someone in the same situation as me.

Just reverse it. Stop asking everyone to bend over backwards for you. The world doesn’t evolve around you. Reverse the advice. It’s still good

Not sure how your response of "Stop asking everyone to bend over backwards for you, the world doesn't evolve around you" is being respectful in our comments as stated in the community rules. Perhaps it's time to listen to a different "Christian" podcast.

Eugene Gutierrez I’m trying to be honest. Not my intention to hurt your feelings. Although perhaps you need to take the advice and not always be to sensitive. It seems as though that’s a common problem from your first comment. Look at the message not how it’s delivered.

Sensitive? As oppose to insensitive.. like you! I was only trying to get some clarity from my first comment, not the common problem as you put it. Please make sure Dave and Ashley respond next. Not you!
