That's an interesting design and the roller bearings have a larger surface against the blade and scales so it should be sturdy but the fact that the bearing is fighting against itself, think of a truck with a welded rear end, while opening and closing the blade makes it seem like a less than ideal bearing setup. It is nice looking though. 👍

@leviweaver1058 great analogy about the welded rear-end and pivoting like that, I didn't think about it that way. The problem i notice most is, everything works great if it's perfectly squeaky clean, but as soon it gets a speck of something in the pivot, you can tell...it's not the end of any worlds or anything, and I still highly recommend. I just wonder why they don't mention this in the description on their website? You have any thoughts on why they wouldn't mention roller bearings in the pivot?

@@Shanes_Sharp_Sheet not sure. I feel like using a different than normal bearing setup would make them want to say something about it. Interesting it was left out.

Interesting..nice looking knife, I have 3 or 4 SRM knives, just budget ones, but the quality is very good.

@motomike5939 if you like srm knives, you would really like this model. It's a steal at $114 I think. The smaller one is most likely cheaper, by how much I'm not sure off the top of my head. The action is wild, when it's freshly cleaned up, there's nothing like it. Dirt/lint/etc. Seems to effect the action quicker than standard ball bearings. Do me a favor, if you happen to pick one up, comment back and let me know what you think, especially if it has rollers or something else in the pivot. I find it odd that they say nothing about it in the description. Thanks for watching!
