Hi. Great you re-started your stamp collection. I started when I was 8 (1972). If I had all my albums, today I would be at 74 albums, but I moved 3 times, so I only have 28 albums. I love your video. Keeo collecting. D

David Barban Wow! 28 albums is still a big number! That is an awesome legacy! ☺

You are right, but you know as well as I do that us philatelists are never satitisfied with what we have. I do know only Hong-Kong stamps, the early ones, kings and quenns, but I always miss one or his variations. Thanks for the answer. David

Great! How many countries so far?
@imtiazahamed79596 жыл бұрын
@@sonyovision thank u very much for replying. I have 112 countries altogether but about 10 to 15 countries have just 1 or 2 stamps for them.

That sounds like an awesome collection. I don't think I am anywhere near that number yet. Would love to someday.

How long have you been collecting?
@imtiazahamed79596 жыл бұрын
@@sonyovision about 8 to 10 years. But Its not such a great collection. As I have lost some of my best and valuable stamps in exchange of stamps of countries I don't have. I have recently found out a website called stampex which deals stamps of all counties along with Indian stamps. Their packets are good and diverse.

I have stamps of india but I want to collect stamps of different countries. how to collect?
@sonyovision5 жыл бұрын
Hey Bhushan, First step would be to join some stamp swap groups online where you can swap Indian stamps for stamps of other countries. I used to be part of some during Orkut days but now lost touch. If I come across any groups will share them here.

My childhood, I'm 34 years old. Then I started collecting hockey cards, sometimes other things. I went back to the stamps, started collecting my banknotes and, when I was saving, the gold coins. This year, I'm not getting out of finance, I'm going for a vacation to Thailand, another year in Cuba and then India, I'm not going to buy much. :-D

I been collected stamp for about 45 years was lot of fun but now everything change about to collecting U.S. stamps and is the new (U.S. for ever) took me some time to understand that new system way to collecting until I found if buy the stamp for ever five years ago for .35 cents and today is about cost .49 cents that stamp .35 that said for ever will be used like .49 cent so can you image will don't suffer from inflation so don't more old U.S. stamps now I buy only (U.S. for ever) so I got lot of bloq that costing me 8.90 dollar collected paid for between 15 to 40 dollar depending the stamp but the best part if the for ever getting high price my stamps always cover the price. So the other old fashioned stamps about 35000 old stamps started collecting since was a boy well is trash
