My Sticker Collection | 22 Years & Running!

Take a quick tour of my sticker collection and the rules I have set for myself around it. Not sure how this relates to my art, but I'm trying to find a way, haha. Hope you enjoy this funny take on my crazy obsession.

I want to start my own sticker collection, but I’m having a hard time deciding what to collect them in. Whatever that is, I want it to be small and compact and I want to stick the stickers on the paper pages, but also I kinda want to protect the stickers. I’ve got some stickers from video game special editions that started to pile up and I don’t really want to keep them in their game cases. Baldur’s Gate 3 alone came with like 3 or more sticker sheets. I even have the apple stickers from my iPhone. I got a sticker that a card seller included with one of the cards I bought. Yeah, you get the point, I want to stick them in a small notebook of some kind and admire them from time to time.

I love to set up my calendar each school year or planner with stickers. I have moved from middle school art to Primary art this year and look forward to giving kids stickers. Love this video to brighten my day. I used to love the scratch and sniff stickers as a kid.

I have been looking through your videos because I am teaching art to a group of homeschoolers. I clicked on this one for background noise because I, too, have a sticker collection. Lo and behold, I believe you and I are from the same area.. Go Chaps. ;)

I mostly collect Disney & Halloween Stickers. I organize them in a reusable sticker book. That may help you. Love your idea of adding the date.😊❤

I love collecting seashells, stickers, wood carvings, and giraffe momentos. I used to collect rocks and gemstones, but I am selective now. I used to collect Garfield items and small artworks too. Oh my gosh, I still collect bookmarks... Thanks for the reminder.

You could make a sticker backdrop. Also, I write poetry and use to leave a poem under a rock or attached to a tree so strangers would find a surprise in the park ir nature trail. I used to find random things in library books and thought it was cool. You could put a sticker in a cellophane envelope and brighten someone's day by leaving in random places. My grown son loves to get old stickers and put on his guitar. Once, I filled my entire calendar with so many stickers and didn't actually have room left to write. Lol. I was bummed afterwards because I felt I wasted the stickers. I then started copying and pasting quotes, images, photos, and etc. to a Word doc and then print to sticker paper or even sticker labels.

I collect mostly metal keychains and trinkets om different videogames that I like. I also collect stickers mostly custom made. Just not sure where to put the stickers though. 🙁
