You have such a beautiful voice ❤ You and Jana Mashonee represent the Lumbee people well with your voices. Don't worry about what the critics say, everyone makes mistakes. It's how you respond to them that truly represents your character, just ask Radmilla Cody -- Miss Navajo Nation. You're doing a fine job 👍

We are HUMANS, even Clinton made poor decisions. Our Lumbee people should focus on our culture and stop with negativity. Ms Lumbee, thank you for your vision for our culture. I do not know Alexis. However, it seems that she has made a mistake and has owned up and apologized for that mistake. And, we should not define people by their mistakes, because we all make them. If you did not make any mistake at 20 years old you would be lying. She was supporting a friend and his dreams, which we should all be doing, especially in Robeson County. The Federal, state, and local government do very little for the Lumbee community and Robeson County, the last thing the local and/or Lumbee community should do is turn on each other. Alexis, I hope you are able to move on and continue to pursue your dreams at UNCW and elsewhere. I hope that you will one day come back and make your community and the Robeson County community a better place. I will be proud to call you a fellow UNCW alumnus. I stand with and support Alexis through this difficult time. We all make mistakes and go through adversity. It is not the mistake/adversity that should define you, especially someone 20 years old. Lots of life lies ahead for Alexis and it seems she has every intention of using it to better the community.

Instead of worrying about the video we need to worry about how the lumber tribe is blowing millions of dollars each year building all those "community buildings" when everyday as i pass by them there unused that should be the issue everyone should be outraged about not a video. When there's people struggling everyday to get by and yet have to turn to DSS for help that's what's shameful.

I must admit, she sure is a beautiful woman, but all blacks that are mixed with European blood are downright beautiful. Where I'm from, there are many mullatto's that aren't Indian, and they all look just as beautiful as she does and they are just Black and White. The video she was in, showed a lot of so-called lumbees and as a Native American I could tell they aren't Indian, but instead are just like the Mullattoes that live around where I lived. The so called lumbee are just what your DNA says you are, just African and European, not Native American, zip, zero, zilch, and that is why the so called Lumbee were furious with her, because she exposed them, & one even said, "We will never get federally recognized now". The reason they act black is because they are black, its the black soul that can't be hidden, it must come out, and be revealed. You people are black not Native American. That's why they made her give up her crown. Indians don't sing chants that way. LOL You so called lumbee are frauds not Native American.
@stormy-le6pb6 жыл бұрын
@Rusell Shaw Sorry, but its already proven through their own DNA project that not one of them had any Native American DNA. It showed that they were just African and European, just like all 38 million of African Americans in the United States. Blacks should be calling themselves African European Americans, or Black White Americans.
@stormy-le6pb6 жыл бұрын
@Rusell Shaw African Americans have no respect for anyone thats why they can lie and not be ashamed of it. The Smithsonian Institution should be ashamed of themselves as well, as they let these Frauds play Indian at the Smithsonian Institute building, copying clothing and dances of the Creek, choctaw and Chickasaw people there, and then back in N.Carolina they copy the Regalia and dances of the Plains Tribes Native Americans there. they have no shame.

And if u what u can come to North Carolina or other places with native Americans and see we ain’t black and yea we dark but that doesn’t mean we black

@@summerlocklear6241 Because lumbee dna project proves that they don't have Native American DNA and your history also proves it, and plus the fact that you people copy the tradition and culture off of other tribes tells off on you people. DNA is the biggest proof. I don't need to go there to see, I can see you people here and you clearly are mixed blood Negro and European, which is why you have copper color skin, and plus the fact that people that come from there all say that you people are not Native. Even congress knows you people aren't Native. North Carolina ought to right the wrong and make you people be what you truly are and that is Negro and European. You're actually African European American or Black White american.

I wish my black brothers would stop dating interracially but they won't because of self hate and brainwashing. I feel that black people need other black people to thrive and maintain the black family. We are losing so many blackmen and women to this interracial dating thing. And I just don't see how it benefits our community. For most pairings interracially it's just sexual curiosity and nothing more. Why wouldn't you want to stay in the community from whom you identify with. I have a better chance winning the lottery than black people staying in there communities. It's truly sad!
