Hey man I know you probably won't read this But I'm at a similar point in my life, just turned 30, been a bar manager for way too long I just got a new job doing logistics for a landscaping company, I don't know a whole lot about growing mushrooms, but I dropped out of college for med school and I'm familiar with labs However, I feel my story is similar to yours and my favorite thing about you is you aren't afraid to teach people My favorite part of your channel is that you've shared your vulnerabilities and shown how you've come from nothing come across hardships and still moved forward I love it, you've inspired me and maybe in six years when I get my operation I'll take you out to dinner and we'll talk about working together because I live very far away from you and live in an area where this kind of thing is in short supply and high demand You've inspired me I'm willing to put in the work and time

Following the same path, using KZbin to further my education. Still needing to research my market before taking the dive into opening a business. Being in Louisiana..we have more than enough humidity to cultivate, but I’m not exactly sure which direction to take (medicinal or culinary, if not a blend of both). You are, by far, the most influential person I’ve seen on KZbin when it comes to mushrooms. It’s been a curiosity of mine for a couple years, but you give people like me the courage and determination to pursue our goals. Keep up the awesome work, man!

@@JP247thatjusthappend Not sure what you mean by semi aired climate, but mushrooms can be grown efficiently anywhere that has enough moisture and ventilation. They breathe in O2 and produce CO2, same as us, so proper ventilation is needed for them to grow.

I got a ad on the video and it was some guy saying "is this video you just clicked going to help you pay your bills?" Yes I just clicked on a video to learn about starting a mushroom business. That was a bad ad placement. I already a cannabis cultivator. So this seems like a natural progression to diversity my income. Cannabis is crazy flooded here in Oregon. 40 an oz. I just recently built a cannabis extraction laboratory which is turning out to be lucrative because everyone is flooded with flower.

Thank you for sharing. I knew that there was more to it than a bag of wood chips. Once I thought about it for a few minutes I realized that there is obviously an investment, one has to do research, become a student, develop a market, storage, delivery, logistics, knowledge, experience, and skill. As well critically have some passion like other businesses I had when I had the energy and was healthy. I was reminded that it is a job and it takes a lot of work and commitment to start and run a business. So your video confirmed the basic laws of business. I wish you continued success and again I appreciate you sharing your valuable insight. P.S. Best intentions to all entrepreneurs wanting to give value to this world because making money alone isn't enough in my book.

Thanks for sharing. Insane that you got defacto banned from growing mushrooms by a landlord. Sounds quite comical now, but I guess at the time it wasn't. Fantastic to hear that everything is starting to grow strong roots. I think in the future a mushroom farm is where I want to be. I'm doing some stuff on air pollution at the moment so I'm a bit tied up. My biggest fear I suppose would be messing up a regular supply contract with a contamination issue. I guess I could just sell when the mushrooms are ready. I think my next step is to put a small grow operation in my back yard and just keep practicing growing until I'm confident. Thanks for the videos, it really is inspirational and helpful

$100,000 loan is necessary for building a business from the ground up with no infrastructure ... We would spend the money better with less problems. I have to admit that I love success , and I have been learning from both you and Curtis ... I have spent the last 7 years studying health , which led me into many different field avenues , but the most interesting study for the last few years has been on a quantum level of photosynthesis regarding the human genome and the plant genomic structures . I have actually just released a new protocol regarding the massive improvement of the crystal structure of water in both liquid and solid form . I have discovered a system and method of recording a memory onto the crystal structure of water , which in fact , will increase production of your farming operation as well as Curtis's farm operation . Decreased germination times / less time to maturity , less water consumption and use / and increased plant structures = extra weights on all plants using the protocol / extra big shrooms ... plants as well ... up to as much as double the size at maturity ... lol, I do know that you are now thinking , WTF , is this guy claiming ... it is a truth that we were never taught , or even considered was possible , but , extended research on a quantum level has made me discover this new protocol , and no I haven't been sampling the skinny strains ... lol... Somehow / some way , my beginning research on my personal health led me into the field of quantum microbiology / quantum entanglement applications / and a basic understanding regarding other quantum mechanical applications ... I have released my protocol to a top world known Neuro- surgeon / a top set of microbiological labs and research specialists around the world , and just in the last 2 weeks from this memo ... I am the guy that can honestly state ; human diseases can be cured by simply drinking the correct structure of water , and knowing that and having that understanding will also allow me to teach others on a far different level than they currently know . Think of an old style of recording called a cassette tape , it could play a song , and when you wanted a new song to listen to , you could erase that song and record a new song onto it , and again and again ... a phase angle of bonding exists for all water , which is in fact the hydrogen and hydrogen bonding to the oxygen molecule = the phase angle ... tap water averages 104 degrees / plastic bottled water = 101 degrees of phase angle bonding / my protocol increases the phase angle of bonding to 114 approx. degrees phase angle = a far less rigid water structure , which as a result has better absorption into a cell membrane , and if energized / will have super beneficial results of usage ... this is a new understanding that will work 100% on any plant structures , and has been shown to have approx. 85 % success rate on eliminating stroke in people that have had a stroke / it will actually eliminate many types of inflammation , which of course is arthritis , and will in many cases halt and even reverse ms / parkinson's , and over a hundred more so called diseased conditions in humans ... anyhow , I am offering a trade situation with your business for my new discovery ... you teach me about your business and I share my knowledge with you ... my protocol was actually developed by me , with no outside funding and little expenditures ... very low equipment costs involved , but super beneficial .... pm... me and we can go from there ... ttyl, T... p.s ----this discovery is named after me ; SQUIRES LIGHT ENERGY PROTOCOL ... derived from understandings of ; EINSTEIN ---BEC 1927 , ALSO ---E=MCsquared , TESLA ---EVERYTHING IS THE LIGHT , MASARU EMOTO --- VICTOR SCHAUBERGER , and many more ... every day for years ... Humans as well as plants go through a photosynthetic metamorphosis regarding light ... which in fact makes much of currently understood medicine ---wrong ...

Dont worry about the money is my advice. Money follows, never leads. Focus on perfecting your craft. Start small with a few types of mushroom and learn how to grow them properly. The rest will come if you are focused. I just ordered spores and materials to grow lions mane and blue oysters. I only spent 50 dollars but thats enough to get my feet wet and learn the craft. Eventually i hope to grow that into a small scale operation. Dont let the lack of money stop you from trying
@FeelingShred5 жыл бұрын
@@Carloud444 yeah I was doing the calculations a while ago, forgot about the exact numbers but every bag of substract (spawn) you produce, turns into 6 more bags in 4 weeks (playing safe with the numbers to guarantee that the bag grows healthy and strong) After 4 months, it would have enough bags to fill a medium-sized garage and start production. That's the easy part. Now comes the hard part: how and where to sell it? Around where I live mushrooms are not really a thing, so I don't have a clue how I would sell it. Specially considering the product only lasts for 4 days fresh. For me, growing is the easy part of this job. (done a few experiments with Oysters at home from grain spawn, so I'm talking out of experience, not out of my ass)

I love mushrooms(eating) them and now want to know how to grow them, I am starting way late will 50 next year, so any info, wisdom you can offer other than what I have seen is greatly appreciated, I want to start out small, but grow to.
