In today’s vlog, I’m letting you in on the story of the gender of our baby. It is a very special story to me that brought me a lot of hope when I was grasping for reassurance of the path we were taking, (IVF). I hope that you find it as amazing as it was to us. About Me:
My husband, Mondo and I have been dealing with infertility for close to 10 years. I have never been pregnant and have been given the diagnosis of Unexplained Infertility. We are in the middle of the IVF process to help grow our family. Walk with us while we plunge into the crazy world of IVF.

Not quite the same but I believe the Lord gave my husband and I infertility to save his life. We tried for a year for a baby. We got pregnant a month before our first appointment with our RE. We ended up losing that baby. Eventually we got to the RE, they recommended a urologist and the urologist found his testicular cancer recurrence. He was completely asymptomatic. It was in the lymph system in the direct center of his abdomen and had we never gone to the urologist, we never would have found it until it was probably too late. He went through chemo, told he would be sterile from chemo for at least 5 years. Tried donor IUI's. Then he had thyroid cancer... Fast forward 2 years after our first loss and 3 years of trying and 1 year post chemo (almost to the day) we concieved our miracle rainbow baby girl. I'm 17w2d and every test, every ultrasound she is healthy as can be, genetically normal, and growing perfectly on track. God works miracles. What a blessing!!! I love the part of being prayed for. Some of our church members including pastors wife prayed over us before our 3rd transfer. A few days before the beta I wanted to home test. I go into my closet to get something and re read my Mom’s prayer for us to be pregnant and heard God say wait three times. I waited and we ate pregnant. When our first beta came back it was 26. I was worried. On the way to beta 2 I heard from God and he said baby is fine. Second beta was 56. Week later not much of having any symptoms expect a few and still hearing baby is good and beta 3 came back over a thousand!! God is good. This has been a beautiful journey. Months and months before having IVF we had been praying and felt the name Samuel was given to us, I looked it up and it means ‘God has heard’ I felt so so strongly that this was a message from the Lord and held on to that for so long. August 2018 we had our first transfer, I was so anxious about whether it had worked, and I had God speak to me in SO many ways, one day a song came to mind, a song I didn’t know and had maybe heard once before, so I looked up the lyrics as I couldn’t understand why this song was going round and round in my mind, as soon as I opened the words the line ‘for once you have spoken, all nature and science follow the sound of your voice’ stood straight out to me (100 billion x by Hillsong) I knew and I felt it was from the Lord, even now I can’t listen to that song without feeling his presence so strongly. In May 2019 I gave birth to a beautiful, perfect baby boy (we never found out the gender) we named him Samuel of course, as God does hear, he is perfect with HIS timing and so good! I have never shared this with anyone but felt compelled to comment on your video. Congratulations on your blessing 🥰

Where do I begin, I’m a recent born Christian 😭🙏🏽🙌🏽 I went to my Cousins Church (now my Church) one evening after her nagging at me for 3 yrs 🤦🏻‍♀️ I went with one intention, to tell her I didn’t like her church so she could quit bugging me. And my my my The Lord had a different plan for me as soon as I walked in I was like ol no this is where I belong I felt an instant peace 😭😭 Church was over and I see the Pastor praying for my brother and he recieved the Holy Spirit and decided to get baptized so he’s going up the altar and I run to get my phone to takes pictures and then literally ran up 2 sets of stairs to witness him getting baptized I’m crying tears of joy cause my Brother was lost for many years with many addictions and as I enter the room where he’s about to be baptized I run into two ladies that hug me cause I’m crying & I’m thanking them and they said do you want to get baptized I immediately say yes yeah yeah something inside me was like this is your chance Mona, so they get me the gown and I rush to change cause I didn’t want to miss my brother getting baptized cause he was already changing, I get out and he’s still ain’t out so they take me first to get baptized & as soon as I rise I’m speaking in tongues 😭😭🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I tell you what!!! God knew exactly what he was doing that night I walked into that church!!!! Weeks later I’m doubting everything about my presence in church & I’m crying and just praying during Church & I ask God for a sign to let me know I belong there and No joke the Pastor walks up to me and says everything is going to be ok just let it out I immediately start to speak in tongues again and afterwards another preacher on the altar comes up to the microphone and says someone in here is asking for a sign well here’s your sign 😭😭😭😭🙌🏽🙏🏽😍 I have plenty of testimonies but these two are my favorite 🥰 Gods timing is always perfect 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽

Wow. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony! I can’t tell you how many times fighting through this journey that I felt like God forgot about me. As I’ve looked back I realized that he’s always come through...in his own time. Crazy part is God showed me everything we’ve experienced as well as what our gender/s would be. Although I doubted here and there I just knew in my heart. After doing some much needed work I’m here 😊 10w2d and I feel more prepared than ever to be the mom God knew I’d be. I can totally relate. For many years I felt so forgotten but the reality was I was a girl having a tantrum because God wasn’t moving when I wanted Him to. I’m so thankful He made me wait. What a beautiful Godly story ❤️ I had mine back in 2010, when I had a cataract on the only eye I have vision in. I was legally blind. I gave everything to the Lord, bathed in his music every day. After surgery and taking of the patch I was blessed with 20/25 vision. Went out side, colors were so vivid. Purples, pink, blue skies.. I dropped to my knees and cried and prayed. He spoke to me, a day I will never forget. ❤️ Thank you for sharing!

I’m a new subby. Love you guys. Just wanted to share a little something with you. I am also a Christian too. My faith is strong in him as well! So, I have a this friend .....and her and her husband tried for a baby for 12 years, NOTHING!!!! They were the first friends that I made, when I came to church. It was around Father’s Day and I was praying over this mama like it was my gift(which, at the time, I didn’t know that). I said around this time next year, you will be with baby. She looked at me afterwards and said, I love you honey, but you just don’t get it. I said, but GOD SHOWED ME. I am happy to say, that year Baby Gracie arrived. And then two years later cane brother Carson and baby Parker will be joining the crew in a couple weeks. So, YES......GOD hears the desires of our heart. And in your case....his timing is perfect too💙💙💙

Also, sometimes people talk from themselves. When I tried to concieve with my ex boyfriend 6 of 7 years ago, and i also recently came to faith then, my mom took me to a conference. The pastor there prayed over me, and told me i would be pregnant within a year (without knowing i wasn't married and i was living with my boyfriend). I bought a card and wrote the date down, so i could testify when i would be pregnant. But after a year, nothing, after 2 years, nothing. I came to faith in a relationship of 7 years, and after 2,5 years (so after 9 years in the relationship) God asked me if i wanted children in or outside marriage. And i knew His will, and even how difficult it was, i wanted to do His will and answered Him: inside marriage. So we stopped trying, and after a while my boyfriend asked me to marry him (he was still an unbeliever) i sayd yes because i said to God: don't let him ask me to marry him, if this relationship is not from you. But he did, and i assumed it was from God. But in weeks before the wedding i feld a strong urge to pray, and pray and pray. And i still don't know why, but long story short: we didn't marry and i ended up in a burn out. I took 1,5 years off relationships to let God form me, teach me, and heal me to be the right woman for my future husband. And boy, God gave me the perfect man when i didn't saw it coming! We are married for 1,5 years, i am 35, and i have prayed for a baby for 6 years. But now, i am happy that God didn't gave me a child with my ex, because my husband told God that he didn't want a woman that already had children. It is very difficult, because my heart is acking for a baby, but i am thankfull He tought me how to be patient, have stronger faith and waith until His perfect timing because He knows best!

Yes! He really does know best! That’s so good that you waited on him even though the waiting is sometimes the hardest part. Remember that God is still not done with you and 35 is just a number. He is more powerful than the timelines we humans give ourselves. Continue to pursue Him and believe that He will bless your womb. He is able! Thank you for sharing.

Believe 2230, we only learn how to hear God's voice when we test what we hear. So i am so proud of you stepping out your comfort zone and praying over that woman. I was an unbeliever for 27 years, and the spiritual family i have now is so unbelievable! Jesus makes us one, and it really feels like that when we share what He did in our lives. How wonderful to complete your family with a healthy baby of the desired gender! There is so much behind the story of the baby’s gender. Some parents choose the gender of their baby for me do gender (sex) selection for family-balancing (non-medical) reasons. While there may be some ethical concerns about this, embryo screening not only ensures a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby, but it also helps parents to make better family decisions using the knowledge that’s available to them thanks to technology. If you have an inclination towards a particular gender, don’t feel guilty about it. It’s your baby and you have every right to decide for your future family.

I had 3 back to back losses and I prayed for a baby girl. I was so sure that God would send me my rainbow baby girl but at 15 weeks I found out I was expecting a baby boy. I was trying to get pregnant for a couple of years. Medically everything seemed normal, but it just wasn't happening. I took some medication for a month or so but then decided to leave it to God. I accepted that if it's not his will, I will never become a mother. After another few years a priest visited our house. We talked and he asked if we wanted babies. We said yes of course. So he told us he would pray for us. I got pregnant in the next cycle... Then with my second one, I was 8 months pregnant and we were going on a doctor's appointment to a city 45 mins away from our town. A nun approached us as we were getting into the car and asked if we could give her a lift to this city. We agreed and during the journey she asked when my due date was. I said the 21st of August. She said "I'll pray for you and the child may be born on the 11th" (it's St. Clara's day, and she was from St. Clara's monastery). My second son was born on the 11th of August. God knows his timing. I don’t think so. This is a story of healing and redemption. I only felt that way initially because of issues I was having. I am in love with this baby and have more love for it than I can imagine. Instead of wallowing in the negativity, this is a story that shows how much healing can occur in a heart through this miracle. I only thought I wanted one gender over the other but I was wrong until I was shown otherwise. God wanted this baby. I don’t know much more love you can feel from knowing that!

Thanks for sharing your story. I hoped to have a girl for my first baby. All FIVE of my healthy embryos ended up being males. No girls at all lol. I transferred one earlier this week and am hoping to meet my first baby boy in June 2020. I'm glad I know because now I know that if I ever want a daughter I'd have to adopt or do another IVF with PGS to "try" again for female embryos.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. We are of course so thankful to have healthy embryos. It still doesn’t change the vision or thoughts we might’ve had beforehand that we still have to process. I hope you get your girl in the end. 😉❤️

I can tell you here. My husband has two daughters already. We’ve been together for 11 years and my thought had been that even though I couldn’t give him his first child, I’d love to give him his first son. I still have hope for the future. 😉

@@letsmakelemonade5764 ooh ok i understand❤💙 god works in mysterious ways and if he could give you a daughter i have faith he will also give you a son😊 i have 2 sons but growing up i have always only seen myself as the mother of girls (i have no brothers but 3 sisters and i liked it that way) so when i had my first son i was upset which i know is wrong but honestly i had gender dissapointment. When i found out the gender of my second son i couldnt be happy and had post partum depression (now my kids are my world i love them to death and cant see my life without them my second son is the one closest to me hes my baby💙💙💙 hes now 5 my oldest is 6 and im 25 years old) after my second i had a huge hormonal embalance crisis to where i almost died (i almsot bled out hormones were out of whack i had 7 blood transfusions and a d&c to scrape my uterus) im struggling with infertility now and have been trying for #3 since my 5 year old was born (i wanted 4 kids all close in age within a year of each other my reason for that is my sisters are a bit older than i am im 25 hey are 31/34/36 so i was kinda the oops child lol my mom was done before i popped up but i had a lonely childhood as the age gap was huge now things are great between sisters but thats my reason) anyway now im struggling to concieve at all (will go to the dr if i dont concieve by 28) but i still long for a girl. I hope you have a boy baby though they are great and very energetic😬😊

That was an amazing story, I do have a story something around like yours but it with direct contact with the Holy Spirit. It’s long story though. But I read that God has us wait to build our faith and character. It is so true. Before I got pregnant I had to wait and I was thinking it’s never going to happen but thru the power of prayer and building faith believing what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me in my dreams. I mean the Holy Spirit even told me what the gender was. So I’m just waiting till next week to find out. But I’m excited again for you and again that was an amazing story. God is true and so good. You're having a girl (my guess).. 😊 I wanted a boy so bad I had convinced myself my baby was a boy, there was a lot of reasons I wanted a boy and not a girl but I would not trade her for the world.. and when I asked God after a year of trying to please let me get pregnant with my husband that we were ready I didn't say (only if it's a boy though) so idk why my mind was so set when I did get pregnant.. I was so happy I didn't care until gender time came close, it came back up.. but everything happens the way it's supposed to. I am very blessed, and whatever your situation is, I know you are very blessed as well! I'm excited to find out the gender and I keep praying for you guys for a healthy, happy pregnancy/baby! ❤❤

I'm still team boy 😊. Praying for no more spotting for you and that you get to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy without worrying. I have a story of being disappointed in one of our children's genders. I knew in my gut it was a boy but the dr. said it was a girl. I was trying not to cry, because I know all children are blessings, I was just having a harder time than I expected hearing it was a girl. I asked him to check again, since I didn't see the definitive 3 lines of a girl. He checked again and realized our baby boy was holding himself and that's why he didn't see anything and thought it was a girl. Lol. It was a learning experience for me because I realized how hard it can be to be disappointed with a gender even when you don't think you ever would be. I don't have experience with infertility but love watching your videos and praying for you all.

Yes. He said that in 6 months I would have a girl and he also told me her name which means a covenant; a promise.

We did not due to our ages. We did IVF while I was 35 and he was 42 so we wanted to give ourselves the best possible chance to build a family. The older you get, the less chances you’ll get many good quality embryos.
