Hi I’m currently 20 years old and found a lump on my neck 3 months ago. Doctors kept telling me oh it’s probably a small infection, gave me antibiotics and the swelling never went away. This month they are sending me to get a biopsy in 2 weeks. I noticed another lump has appeared and I’m constantly sleeping, itching and I stared getting night sweats They think it’s cancer (lymphoma). The biopsy will tell us. Thanks for sharing your story! I have a feeling I do have cancer but I’m staying positive either way. I can fight it.
@gzlmichelle5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can! Have you gotten your biopsy yet?

My daughter was diagnosed with grey zone lymphoma stage III in Dec 2013. Ive recently read an article on a Gardasil and how it has been studied and duplicated and published that it causes autoimmune disorders and LYMPHOMAS. She was 20 at the time. She was also exhausted and having to call in sick a lot. I thought it was a flu because we had all had the flu. the utgent care doc did a chest xray and found an enlargement in her chest so she called me at work and told ne to meet my daughter at the nearest hospital for a CT scan. Then we found it. My dtr had a biopsy and it was sent to Stanford when grey zone lymphoma was the diagnosis. She had RCHOP and 21 days of radiation and is now in remission. But I have always been an antivaxer since I studied virology and immunology in nursing school. what I want to know is, did you have the Gardasil vaccine?
@gzlmichelle7 жыл бұрын
I don't think I've had Gardasil. I may have. I can't believe the pain to get your medical history!

Hey!! I loved your video, I noticed a small one hard node on the back of my neck last year oct and thought nothing of it. then about 3 months ago, one on my left neck (1.5 cm ENT said) that was enlarged that gets big-> then smaller. 2 months after that, lymph nodes found on left and right neck I didn’t know about (left side is where the big one is, those are also more prominent Dr. Says) had so many odd symptoms but more relevant ones... lost 27+ lbs QUICK. (Went from 147 to ~ 119) the night sweats, baddd fatigue, itching (it’s all over- is that usual?) and a random rash that went away. I’m 21 and I know somethings up, but I shouldn’t have ignored things for so long, normal CBC’s (anyone else? Super weird) been ruled out for lupus,RA, Mono, etc. So Dr. Said my bloods shouldn’t be normal but we’re waiting on the result for 2 more tests. As of right now today I have first cardiology appt (chest pain, tachycardic, blue nails) halloween ultrasound, then if everything is clear on bloods going to hematology! It comes a point when 2 dr’s say they don’t know what’s going on that your intuition comes in and knows. So proud of you and your strength!!!! It’s awesome to know you kicked it in the ass and are doing better!!😊

@@Sugarglid3r How're you doing ? hope all is well. I have had almost same symptoms like you had started 5 months ago. I did ANA profile an autoimmune test also but came up negative. recently I had TB blood test with positive result, but doctor still not sure if TB is all the cause and thinking of I have only latent tb not active by looking at normal CBC. but doctor still prescribed me anti tb med and watch the progress in 1 month. I wish to hear your story if I could.

Alfa Mirza sure! so i actually have been going through this since i made the post above. they’ve diagnosed me with an autoimmune disease “Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease”. But, they don’t believe that is my diagnosis-weird. i know, i was labeled as a medical mystery by pretty much all my doctors. i still have very bad night sweats and haven’t started treatment for UCTD. i got a excisional biopsy in Feb that came back as “Dermatopathic Lympadenopathy” and my doctors were worried because without a defined cause, it’s sometimes seen as a precursor to malignancy. so, I got a bone marrow biopsy in April- came back normal. all my bloodwork had been weird. i had one ANA normal, the next i had it, it wasn’t. my Anti-SSA was very elevated and i was just ill and lost a lot of weight. unfortunately being a medical puzzle and being young, there isn’t a lot of doctors who want to be aggressive. I have had recently another lymph node pop up. My advice to you: Demand a CT of your head/neck affected areas, track your symptoms (for some reason everything for worse for me at night.), and don’t give up on finding a doctor whose right for you. it’s easier said than done, im still trying to find mine! your gut speaks for a reason, if you have any other questions, im open!

Did they run a cbc at some point? I would assume the lymphocytes were high.
@gzlmichelle6 жыл бұрын
Hi! I did actually and they had to rule out an infection and then moved on to tissue biopsy. The increase doesn't mean you have lymphoma so the biopsy was to identify what the mass was. They did a needle aspiration which came up negative for lymphoma. The first tissue test identified lymphoma but not a very concentrated amount. So they attempted a second tissue biopsy with the same result

Michelle, have you had also mosquito bite type skin reactions randomly? I am getting such. Something like hives but one or two only not many little but itchy. Docs say it is in my head 🙃
@gzlmichelle5 жыл бұрын
I did have a skin reaction all over my body. Very itchy to the point I had to be mindful of not scratching until I bled. Find another doctor if this one doesn't take you seriously. It is a major symptom of lymphoma I hope you are well and sorry for the late reply!

I’m doing the same. Crazy itching on my feet hands and sometimes my arms. Im also sweating on and off all day for no reason. My sister had lymphoma none Hodgkin cancer, and she needed a bone marrow transplants. Out of 4 sisters I was her perfect match. I’m very worried

@gzlmichelle6 жыл бұрын
Lori Soliven Hi there! Thank you for the well wishes! I'm not sure what you mean by "tow place" but I can tell you I did have blood work done. I tested positive for B Cell Lymphoma and after a tissue biopsy was diagnosed with Gray Zone Lymphoma. I can't say for sure but I wouldn't think your type of cancer would "turn into" my type. Generally speaking, lymphoma is very common in young adults but can happen at any age. I would get another opinion if you are having doubts about your diagnosis or treatment. Thanks for reaching out and I wish you best of luck! ❤
@gzlmichelle6 жыл бұрын
Lori Soliven if you mean 2 places or more, my lymph nodes were enlarged in my neck and collarbone area. I also had a tumor on my right lung.
