I got a 2002 Corolla 8 months ago from my cousin, 118k miles and I’m highly enjoying it. Is in very good condition. It got a new timing chain immediately so the engine runs strong again. I put a new Kenwood Black Friday Best Buy special stereo for $99. It has some transmission issue with reverse but it still drives great forward and gets 27-32mpg avg. I recently did a full tuneup and replaced purge solenoid which fixed a lot of issues. I will eventually look for a used Camry.
