I’m on my way to 60 days and I plan on going to 90 and more. I feel so much better. I started walking yesterday. Keep on keeping on Karen! ❤

Liked and subscribed! I'm not that long into carnivore - I know I lost about 10 lbs. in the first two weeks, but I don't have a scale - I stopped by our clinic here in town and asked to used their scale! I didn't actually note my start date, so I'm not sure how long I've been doing this - about two months, but with slips along the way. My challenge is my husband - he's a paraplegic, and feels he has few enough pleasures in life - be damned if he's gonna give up his candy and ice cream! I've slipped up and shared a brownie, or a doughnut, or an ice cream bar with him, usually late at night or first thing in the morning - although I'm getting better at resisting the temptation to have some sugar! And unlike you, I've always liked vegetables and have a small garden - so turning away from fresh, vine-ripened tomatoes, asparagus, wax beans or sweet potatoes . . . that's tough! I admire the Texas Boys family, who built a huge pantry and now are selling it all to others in favor of preparing and storing meat! I think as we feel better, and our brains start working better, it becomes easier to stick with the program - and people like you are SO much a motivator, as you share your own wins and losses along the way. Don't get discouraged - and even if you do, don't stop! May God bless you!

Good for you! Keep at it. You will be pleasantly surprised when your body is completely free of sugar. i had to go to Kroger today. I walked right past the vast array of boxes of Halloween candy. I will admit to looking at a few decorations, none of which were edible...lol! I still enjoy a salad once in a while. There's nothing wrong with eating what you grow. You know how it got there & what's on it. Get rid of your own sugar addiction, then you can help your husband. When he sees you are no longer interested in his sugary treats he may be willing to try cutting it down or out. Dare him to try at least keto for 7 days. Make sure he doesn't have any seed or nut oils. They are worse than carbs. And after you kick your sugar addiction be sure to continue your snacks with him. Just don't eat any sugar. I love salsa. Salsa has sugar. Pico De Gallo does not. I dip pork rinds in it. Watch the videos. Lots of subs out there. watch Laura Spath. She has a lot of shopping videos & what to order out. Good luck!
