My sister-in-laws dad is a police dog handler and he takes the doggos home with him :) has a huge kennel compound for his mutiple police dogs. They usually live with the handlers and do not rot with the huitlacoche in the airport / police station

I’m crying at the whole huitlacoche story!!!🤣🤣 Also I think the cheese you had in your quesadilla is Oaxaca cheese (pronounced wha-haka), stringy and similar to mozzarella but so much flavor! My husband is Mexican and introduced me to it! Loved this epi and hope my counselors are okay after that spooky gas leak! ❤❤

I’m obsessed with this couple on KZbin called Homegrown Handgathered where they forage and grow a lot of their own food, in Pittsburg PA I think! But that’s who I learned about huitlacoche from, I think they said they were able to inoculate some corn cobs to make it grow? but I might be wrong 🤔 so interesting, I’ve never tried it!

Hi! Listener of the podcast who’s a fraternal twin. Here’s the breakdown. You get half your genes from your mom and half from your dad. XX sex chromosomes=assigned female at birth; XY=assigned male at birth. The sperm is the deciding factor in the sex assigned at birth as it has only half of your dad’s DNA and the egg has half of your mom’s DNA. Half of Mom’s DNA will always yield an X chromosome but dad’s can give you either an X or a Y depending on the sex chromosome the sperm is carrying. When it comes to twins, Identical twins=1 egg that split at some point after fertilization. Identical twins can only be boy-boy, girl-girl as the egg is fertilized by only one sperm, but then splits afterwards at which point the sex chromosome has already been established. Fraternal twins=2 separate eggs deposited during ovulation. They can be boy-boy, girl-girl, or boy-girl since there are two separate eggs requiring 2 separate sperm to fertilize each one.
