Jonathan you are so right about almond flavoring tasting like maraschino cherries! My boyfriend is obsessed with this almond cake from a Puerto Rican bakery and I don’t like it. I try a bite every time he gets it expecting it to taste like a nutty vanilla but all I get is maraschino cherry!
