I came to this same conclusion a few weeks ago and it’s so freeing! I’m in K2 right now but I don’t scout my opponents at all and I only change defense when I get a nice new defensive team with a DC or something like that.

I made it to kyber in less than 18 months. It's actually a lot easier now since they made some changes a few months ago. Totally worth the rewards and I personally enjoy the game mode a lot so for me it's also a lot of fun to put in the effort even when the odds seem impossible.

There are many TW omicrons that I really like, such as Trench and Kelleran Beq, that make that team really work in TW. I have all 3 on Scion of Jango, but I did those a couple of years ago when I unlocked him, mainly because I love Boba Fett.

I gave up on caring about GAC a while back. I'm in k2, but I haven't updated my defenses since last year because to me, it's just a tedious mode. If you're actually good you'll end up hitting a wall, datacrons suck all the fun out anyway. I play, but it's zero effort playing. No scouting, no adjusting for changes in the meta, just go in, fight, leave and let the chips fall where they may So instead I focus on making my guild better. I focus on ROTE platoon and mission toons, I focus on raid characters. GAC sucks man

I’ve been making decisions based on whats most fun to me, not necessarily the time vs rewards output. GAC is still the mode I find most enjoyment in and so I’ll still continue to invest Omicrons to those teams.

Kyber 2 or 3 is fine for me. My matchmaking fluctuates wildly so I just don’t care that much… If it made sense or was competitive, sure. I’ll just take the crystals and move on to my other tasks.

TW is great, the problem with TW omicrons is you really need like half of the guild to commit. One account with Trench and mara omicron won’t move the needle.

I totally get it and have switched over my focus as well. I’ve dropped slightly in GAC, but still getting the same rewards basically. Maybe I’m missing out on a win during a season, but it isn’t worth the headache to me.

I get you, although for me gac is the only thing worth caring. New raid is a huge letdown, tw is the same since forever, TB is the same shit again and again, conquest too Also, since almost all crystal income is locked behind gac, i have to care ;)

The burnout can be real sometimes man. I left the game because I got pushed from kyber 2 to kyber 5 when datacrons were released. GAC is fun sometimes and I think it provides the biggest hit to dopamine for alot of players, but hey, invest in some TB omi's if you want. Maybe even do some TW ones. Everyone craps on TB omi's, but they can be the difference between everyone getting all the missions done with the extra currency it gives. That makes the kyro struggle less so. You do what you want mate. At the end of the day, its all about your enjoyment first and foremost. Keep up the great videos!

PVP in this game sucks bc of matchmaking. PVE is more fair bc you can actually control it.

tb is the most important game mode to invest in. It isnt going to change and it gives a lot of kryo stuff. jkck tb omis are good stuff.

Don't try, just do what you are comfortable with. From The Gerbil video on this, if you aren't having fun then change and make it fun. It's great to watch The Gerbil play his Ewoks and other atypical teams. It's better to have you than not. I miss Gridan as his videos are still incredibly helpful. Just have fun and let us see that.

I’d shift to TW….. we upped to getting droid brains…. I’ve shifted to do more to 50 than just GAC which helps me, then helps them…..

I don't agree that, at the high end, a million GP is an auto loss. That's true when it's 1M vs. 2M. It's not true at all when it's 11M vs 12M. There is hugely diminishing returns at those levels, where everyone has all the toys and it's more about datacrons. You have r9 Leviathan fleet and r9 Leia squad? Cool. My base requirements Levi and r5 Stap plowed through them. That said, I do agree that GAC has lately felt far more stressful than it's worth. I want to stay in K1 mostly for pride but that's about it.

I get you man. 7m GP here and been up against 9m to 10m GP players averaging 1 win if my opponent decides to forget their attack phase lol pretty ridiculous!

I am in the same boat, Phil. In k2 with a 55% win rate. Plus, this new datacron has way too many variables to keep track of. But isn’t this the same thing as a previous video that you posted about pushing a rock up a hill only to have it roll back to the bottom for you start pushing again…

im k2. ive never scouted or changed a D bc my opponent. i check out what they have to see if i have a chance as im usually down 2 GLs. Like tw if u try u will avg over 50% wins. I try to bank my losses in 3v3 and win in 5v5.

Do what u want to have fun in the game, but that being said, complaining about facing a 12m account at 11.2m is kinda cringy imo. Its just the way it is if ur halfway decent at the game. You will never face smaller opponents unless ur just not good
