But if your grips are too thin then you won’t be able to grip it that way. Logger hands need thicker grips. It makes a huge difference.

Todd, idea of glove label facing down is great. But if you ever played with guys taking 3 practice wings on every shot, like I have, you will go nuts Affects tempo and pace of play and causes unpleasant reactions. Please reconsider this tip. Still think you are great teacher.

Todd began his "routine" @4:17 & made his strike @4:43 26 sec is not unreasonable. Its what he did or didn't do PRIOR to beginning his routine that could be an issue/delay-of-game.

The biggest cause of slow play is not being ready to play when it is your shot. Todd’s hitting routine is quick IMHO. The trick is to get all your “computing” done, and selected s club before it’s your turn. Of course sometimes this isn’t possible, but you will be amazed how quick you can be. I am quite a considerate shot maker. I check the wind, the yardage, pick my landing sport, confirm my shape and then do Todd’s routine. I can still play a 2-ball 18 holes walking in 2.5 hours though as I do most of my work before I get to the ball.

@@timshears2099 You should play with seniors like I do- 3 practice strokes an each shot will drive you crazy.

@@richardsiles8206 I am nearly 70 and the youngest of our group. it’s interesting - when I was young the more experienced players would comment if we played slowly. These days it seems to be taken as impolite, but most people who play slowly do not need to - they just do not know how to speed up.
