Thanks Leila, your newletter referenced your team trying out different ways of learning. I really prefer your most basic instructions. No role play, no frills. I have to agree that it's really nice to see behind the scenes as it really just shows how much effort and thought goes into making a video for public viewing. Your videos are among the best in the field. Your methods are really easy to follow and even when you're presenting a complex topic, you most always take the time to show detailed steps to get the result. Many other videos just do a high level process and leave it to the viewer to fill in and discover where menu commands are located. Excellent work and thank you again for letting us see Leila as a real person vs just an occasional head and shoulders shot.

Looks like your primary set is a fairly high table with a bar stool for your seat. I use a standing desk and a bar stool that looks like it's similar to yours for when I sit at my desk. Pretty cool to see that I'm not the only one that uses a bar stool instead of an office-type chair. I get made fun of sometimes for having this instead of the typical office chair. LOL! It's neat to see the space you use, and cool to kind of humanize you and the team outside of the down-to-business videos I'm used to. I've learn a lot from your content, and it's helped me become a more productive analyst, and it's made work more fun with the more exciting tools I learn. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the tour, Lelia. Interestin how the audio lost all echo the moment you entered the studio. Those sound absorbing boards, acoustic ceiling tiles and carpet really do a great job. Don't confuse sound blocking with an acoustic panel. I've done a lot of research into this. Sound blocking is an entirely different concept.
@karhukivi2 жыл бұрын
@@MrSupernova111 How do I reduce noise transmitted through the wall without any construction work? Is there any easy solution?
@MrSupernova1112 жыл бұрын
@@karhukivi .No, there no easy solution to sound blocking. I spent many hours researching this. The only solution is to add mass between rooms and eliminate any direct airflow such as space underneath doors. You can reduce noise between rooms to some degree but mostly all you can do is dampen the noise. If you want to learn more about sound blocking search for sound proofing door blankets, door draft stoppers with (some) sound proofing, and "sound barrier" sheets (home depot). However, the only true way to sound block is to install sound blocking material inside the walls. Some people add sound blocking material to the wall and install a second layer of sheet rock on top of the sound blocking material. Not cheap stuff and not for the light hearted. I hope this helps. Good luck!
