You can actually do the small island trip on the first trip. Just go to the island first, grab the gear, then leave them on the boat and go shopping.

I did this my first time playing and is now my go to start. Jump in the boat, head to the cottage on the island, take absolutely everything and head back to home, then hit the store

i remember starting the game on february 27th 2017 few months after release i get memories thinking of little me coming home from the store IRL hopping on my pc and buying the game and that was the one game i played almost daily i currently have up to 1,776.9 hours at the time of review on it honestly i am amazed how much topless gun did from 2017 to 2022 on msc and now with My winter car coming thats a whole new experience

You can also drink water from the faucet in the kitchen and the shower it wont get you drunk and kills thirst faster

Found this out via trial and error whilst looking and learning into the sink, came very useful as being drunk was making me way more motion sick and couldnt drive whilst even a little drunk in MSC

Personally I just get the tractor and drive it to Teimo's, get all I need, then go to the abandoned house to get the wheels and head home to build the car (optionally you can also take some GT parts along the road, if you find the abandoned datsun or pass by Fleetari's). I also recommend screwing the driver's seat up so the van spawn timer starts early in the game.

I added the mods that are most widely used by players and showed my recommended mods. the only road I use in the video is to the house directly behind your home, and I use the boat to go across the lake. I have a video showing how to deliver the wood otherwise there are maps online you can use if you are still having trouble.

Just got this game an hour ago. Super lost. But thank you for making a (somewhat) comprehensive video. I have a past with mods so know how to work them (most of them have instructions when you download them, called “readme” files). Installing mods successfully for some people takes time especially if they’re new to installing mods.

You need to put some gas when you put first gear otherwise it will stall

also check to make sure you have turned the fuel line on. On the side of the bike there is a fuel line with a little switch

To install the mods, you need msc loader. and an account on nexus mods to download the mods and msc loader and winrar, there's an MSC Patcher thing in the MSC Loader after you download it and i think you should extract it thats how i did it. the msc patcher should pop up and find something like mysummercar.exe in your files and see on which thing you have it on click on the msc patcher "MSC Folder" and click on the mysummercar.exe thing and then you can install the msc loader but set that the "Mods" folder will be in appdata not your documents, then install the "MSC Loader" thing on the MSC Patcher and your "MSC Loader" is ready, now you need winrar for the mods, download them if they are downloaded go in the "Downloaded" thing in your folder and cut it, then go to %appdata% Amistech My Summer Car there should be a folder in there called "Mods" put the downloaded thing with the winrar icon in the mods folder, then right click on the mod dont worry if it says "This may be harmful for your PC" it won't. Click then "Extract Here" on the downloaded mod in the mods folder. there should show up something like this, Cheatbox.dll then you're good to go, my mate. but, if you download a mod that has textures and meshes in it, then put the winrar file in Assets after doing the "Extract Here" thing but dont do the "Extract Here" thing in the Assets folder, or else the mod wont work. That's all. Oh, wait when you are in %appdata% go to "LocalLow"

The alternator belt has caused me so much pain. Got one with all the other parts but it magically disappeared on the way home. Looked for it for an entire day, didnt find it. Went to get another one, it disappeared as well. Went to buy 2 more just to be sure (and because I was pretty feed up at this point), got home with 3 because I found one of the ones I lost.
