I love these videos! It’s a reminder to me that life can be whatever we want it to be. Mornings can be peaceful, laundry can be fun- it’s really just a series of choices. Plus, it feels like a friend sharing what works for them- so it feels inclusive and wholesome and full of love. Your videos are always such a gift 💛!

I guess I cant say I am totally surprised as Ive been following your journey since 2017/18, but our morning routines are incredibly similar. Aka the same, to a T. Down to the white vitamix and the same bamboo dish rack. Only differences are my intentions ( dreams & thoughts & intentions ) go into a physical journal, and Im using resistance bands for my workouts right now. Otherwise all the same lol same salt lamp, podcasting set I believe too, I hand dry my clothes as well and love folding them. ( we are a rare breed I think ) Just brought them inside. Giving them a smell after theyve been sundried all day is heaven. Love your crystal above your vision board! My home has amethyst. 💜 Think you'll ever do more meet ups like you did this past October, or something similar? October was awesome!
@AlyseParker2 жыл бұрын
oh my gosh!!! soul sister no doubt. that's so wild all of the similarities, and i'm sure there are many many more too! to answer your Q - i don't have another ascend in-person event planned at the moment, but do see myself hosting another one in the future :) aaaand, right now i'm building a virtual version of ascend that never ends 😇 will be sharing this project and a few others soon. eeee!

@@AlyseParker How exciting!!! Soul sisters for sure. Grateful! Awesome to hear about virtual ascend! I did see a 'coming soon' section on your website. To make a couple more connections - on the chance you rememeber everyone at your october event - I was the one who gifted you the ceramic beeswax candle, and after we looked in the mirror realised we have very similar blue eyes as well!

USUALLY it’s someone who struggles with seeking who they are/the meaning of human existence, past trauma, former military families or sometimes missionary families who traveled constantly etc. I’ve seen all of these or a combination of them. This doesn’t completely narrow it down, just the top contenders.

Perhaps it's a sense of adventure ... why all the negative reasons?
@CS-xl9xv2 жыл бұрын
@@juleslefevre1911 more like instability. If she’d move to different states and countries each time that would be adventure but moving three times to California? Two times to Colorado? Anyway I don’t watch her anymore so whatever. Good luck to her

I usually don't even have time to open my curtains in the morning. I always have to go somewhere. I'm always expected somewhere. I have to hastily cram a peanut butter sandwich down my throat and pour a cup of coffee after it. Because I have to make money. I want this too! What am I doing wrong?
@CANADIANBINT2 жыл бұрын
better time management, go to bed 10 mins earlier each day.. you'll wake up a bit earlier the next morning. By the time the week is done you'll find yourself having time to open your curtains in the morning after all ;)
@christinelittle20752 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you do for work, but there are a lot of ways you might be able to simplify your current lifestyle! It’s something I’ve been working on. If you’re always expected somewhere, consider what your commitments are and how many of them are really necessary for you to live life in alignment with your values. Consider your deadlines, and if you’re pushing yourself to work at a pace that isn’t right for your well-being. Just because you can do things fast, doesn’t mean you should :). Tweaking the expectations we have for ourselves and giving ourselves plenty of time to work on things can actually result in higher productivity- which might seem a bit counterintuitive haha. I’m totally shooting in the dark here, so sorry if none of this resonates. I think if you crave a bit of time in your day for yourself, it will require some sort of sacrifice and some sort of simplifying your current life. That need for peace needs to become more of a priority than the many other things that demand your attention throughout the day. I’m just rambling at this point 🤪. Hopefully some of this hits home, if not- just take it as a reminder that some strangers on the internet do care! Hahaha
@christinelittle20752 жыл бұрын
Okay- here’s a way to summarize! (I’m pre-coffee, so this has been a stream of consciousness comment 😅). The culture I’ve been exposed to is very much a “Do More, do more, do more” kinda culture. I was told that those who live successful lives simply work very hard and juggle a lot all of the time. But it’s actually focusing on one thing at a time and simplifying all of our processes in life that makes things more manageable. And if things are more manageable, then we see more success in the long run. Again- not sure if any of this is helpful 😅. I was making food and it occurred to me that this might be an easier way to say what I was trying to say? Either way, Hope all is well with you💛.

@dmitris.75972 жыл бұрын
@@christinelittle2075 Thank you Christine, I did not expect such a comprehensive response. I appreciate it very much. However, the do more culture, which I am also in over my head, is not a choice, something I impose on myself because I might want to be successful. It is imposed on me because I have to pay my bills ...in an increasingly expensive world. My landlord, energy company, insurance company, tax authorities are relentless and won't sleep any less if I don't have enough time for myself. I have to work hard every month to pay for my life. So my question was more...how do you get all this free time when you have to work so much. Or do you have a money tree. How many minutes do I have to get up earlier to be able to enjoy a banana smoothie and a meditation at the end of the week as well.
