Nicely done. You mention at time hack 1:11 , regarding the trolling motor, about the water not getting to the black edge seam. Will this boat take in water through that seam? Thank you.

It will. But I’ve seen guys put the flex seal spray around the rubber piece and not as much come in. I have a ton of stuff though and it doesn’t touch at all

Hey buddy, did adding the deck make the boat unstable at all? Really thinking about adding one to mine.

Nice rig, i have the same. you need the 55lb with these boats. 30lb'ers don't work well with the wind.

That’s just like my boat!

Did you notice a big difference between the 34lb trolling motor and the 55lb? Also what are you using for the anchor wench?
@h.strother4 жыл бұрын
Yes it seems to be much more quiet, faster. I don’t have a wench. I just fashion it on there so it doesn’t come off

Name of the seat please did you do any mods to get the seat to match up?
@h.strother4 жыл бұрын
It’s at Walmart and it bolted up just the same as the one that came with the boat

nice boat. whatd you build the deck with
@h.strother4 жыл бұрын
It was made with I think 1/2 plywood. Put a ton of waterproofing on every inch of wood. Then I went and bought one of those $20 rolls of indoor/outdoor carpet and glued/ staples it to the plywood

Thanks. I’ve already put all the frame work together was just wondering what you used to put over it. Thanks for helping out
@h.strother4 жыл бұрын
I used some sort of sealer I can’t remember what it was and then I put two coats of white paint on it. I had to do that bc it wasn’t marine plywood. The carpet is really soft. The only thing I would do different is maybe put a pad under the carpet because I have flat feet and it hurts after a while of standing on it
